You expect a same set of standards from a chain, but this one exceeded the norm. I wasn't the first in line at the front desk to check in so I had time to notice how other guests were being treated and all of us receives the same friendly service regardless of who we were. The hotel looked brand new and was very clean comfortable and wll manintained. The location was also a plus. It was rea close to the express way and near places to eat and shop. I may shop around when I stay in this area again but will judge other hotels by this one. « less

I stay at Marriott properties all over the world. I had businesses in Beaver county Pennsylvania so decided to try this Marriott because closest Marriott property to beaver county. I'm glad I did this property is outstanding. In nice location and was a clean upscale Marriott. Rooms nicely appointed and large. And hotel service and amenities top notch. I am a Marriott gold elite member so I stay at Marriott properties whenever I travel and I have to say this ranks right near the top for service, value and class. We stayed at the Marriott North in Cranberry during a business-related trip to the Pittsburgh area. Overall, it is a typical Marriott--clean, updated, comfortable. The decor was typical of most of the newer suburbian Marriott properties. Since we are status customers, we were given a room on the "swipe" floor-the 8th floor. I can't say there was anything special about this floor aside from the Concierge lounge...however, our housekeeper was named Heather and she did a fantastic job keeping our room in order. She was also very friendly. This is somewhat rare in a housekeeper, but she was great. I also had a long talk with the lady in the concierge lounge (I didn't get her name) but she was very friendly and helpful. She gave me a lot of useful info on the Pittsburgh area. The concierge area was well stocked with delish fruit assortment and cheeses and meats, as well as the typical drink selection. I really enjoyed it. As for the room itself, it was average. It was smallish but clean. Bathroom was tiny but clean, updated. I found the bed to be very comfortable, but my husband complained of back problems. They had plenty of fresh pillows. One minor annoyance was the temperature control --it wasn't adjustable and the fan was blowing non-stop. Minor issue, though, in an otherwise great stay. I did not take part in the amenaties offered such as the pool or workout area, but they looked nice. We did eat brunch at the RiverCity Grille and it was pretty good. One think to point out is that this property is in a very convenient location to several major highways, as well as right across the street from Target, Dicks, Giant Eagle, and tons of places to eat. I liked the hotel and I would stay there again. I do think the rate was high, given the fact that it was so empty and quiet when we stayed there. Other than that, I was satisfied. « less

I stayed here for a business seminar for 2 days this week - like I do every year. Once again, no complaints ....except for one very minor issue: I wasn't able to watch the Pens hockey game in my room - In Pittsburgh! Turns out, only the bar and restaurant TV's got the channel needed for the game, not the individual room TV's, and being I was a single female traveler, I didn't want to sit at the bar by myself. So, no Pens game for me :(( Seriously though, this is a great hotel - very clean, very friendly staff, nice rooms etc. etc. Highly recommended. « less

Both systems are different and in the lounge and bar area it is a normal business subscription however the hotel rooms have to go under a different system that is limited in packages.
