We were there this past weekend (April 19-April 20) and stayed in Room 109. First let me start by saying we stayed at this hotel last year at the same time and they have renovated. The young lady at the front desk was welcoming, friendly, and very helpful. The hot tub in the pool area was out of service. Our room appeared to be clean. THEN the next morning I tried to make a call and the phone in the room was unplugged. Once I found the cord to plug in the phone, I picked up the phone and there were about 30 ANTS UNDER THE PHONE. We packed up our bags as quickly as we could and checked out. Before checking out we decided to check the mattresses for bed bugs (which is something we normally do, but didn't this time) and didn't see any sign off bed bugs. We checked out and told the gentleman at the front desk that the phone was infested with ants and he said "thank you for letting me know"...THAT IS ALL!!! My husband and I were completely disgusted « less

I stayed in a king suite. The room was extremely small. The bathroom the same. Not much counter space. I had to move ice buckets and coffee maker to have enough room. Don't think I've been in a room this small. The upgrades to the place make it a decent place to stay. Staff not that personable. Breakfast area tables are not wiped clean. I watched her several times. She only pushes chairs in and removes trash. Would probably stay here because its clean but would look for something with a larger room. Barely enough room to walk in these rooms. Cleaning crew is quite loud as well. « less

We were there this past weekend (April 19-April 20) and stayed in Room 109. First let me start by saying we stayed at this hotel last year at the same time and they have renovated. We stayed on 3-1-13, before flying to Florida. We were told after we got there, no shuttle to airport. Having to get up at 3am was bad; but there was a swim team there who contued to run up and down the hall, slamming the door directly across our room until about 1am. Were there any chaperones? If they had any, what were they doing? Perhaps they were drunk to allow the constant racket. When we returned on 3-3-14, we called for a ride back to the hotel, waited more than half an hour in frigid weather, finally hailed a cab who charged us a whopping $35, probably seeing our desperation. Shortly after settling in, we realized the batteries were nearly dead on the TV remote. We were told they had no replacements. The breakfast was poor "quality". Thumbs down on this place! « less
