Stayed at this hotel for two nites for a softball tournament. Very happy with this location.
Pros: location. centrally located off the interstate for easy on easy off. Plenty of food choices nearby, as well as shopping and sports venues.
staff: very friendly and helpful. best we have encountered in awhile!
hotel: very clean, no worries on bed bugs, I always check. room (138) very nice with crazy high ceilings, fridge, microwave, and a good size bathroom. Comfy pullout couch as well. Beds very comfortable with great pillow choices. safe, well lit parking lot. great commons area with fireplace and a nice breakfast.
Cons: the ONLY thing I can mention are the windows in the rooms...tons of cold air coming in which seems to be common at most hotels now. also noisy traffic issue as this room faces the interstate. some insulation around the windows would help both issues.

Stayed for 1 night with a group on 2/9/13. Positives were that the hotel room/bathroom was very clean & overall the hotel was accomodating to our group. Waited at front desk for too long for someone to show up to check us in. (6pm on a Saturday night.) Asked at check-in for a room away from the highway & given a room on the highway. They must know it's loud as the room provided earplugs! Yet, even that with the loud highway could not block noise & thus a terrible night's sleep. The refridgerator in the room was also very loud. Chose here based on previous reviews & happy with cleanliness, but staff less than enthusiastic to help & simply stated they only had king rooms remaining (we needed 2 queens.) The bedding was clean (no old bed spreads here) & room pretty up to date. WIFI was free and streamed a movie just fine. Stay for the clean factor away from highway & nothing more. « less

Extremely impressive HI Express... maybe the best i've seen. Clean, modern, spacious rooms. There are power outlets EVERYWHERE (3 on the desk, 2 on each bedside lamp). The air conditioning is not so loud as to interrupt sleep. Walking distance to a variety of shopping and restaurant choices, prompt airport transportation. Kellianne at the front desk was extremely helpful upon our check-in making adjustments to our reservation and recommending a restaurant for dinner.
My only complaint is that somehow my Priority Club number was not on my receipt so when I check out this morning I'll have to make sure that they include it on my record. This seems to happen all the time at Holiday Inns... must be something with their computer system. Frustrating! « less
