Excellent room service, you get your order in less than 30 min with all the complements from them. But the check in / out is not acceptable for this level hotel. I had to wait my bag more than 15 min after I checked out. When arrived I gave them USD cash deposit, which was transferred into local currency at the very low rate, and returned to me upon check out as such. I lost around 40 USD in currency converting without having room charges( unacceptable )!!! Try some other hotels in Dubai with less stars and you will get much better services ( Rotana , Hilton creek, Meridian ). « less

Stayed here for 3-nights in April start. The warm welcome, room decor, amenities in the rooms as well as spread, appearance & flavours of food in the restaurant were all of the highest order. Zero complaint. They also have 2 lovely pools often frequented by hotel guests. Its very conveniently located close to the airport. Just a small nitpicking the red theme color can be little jarring at times & also same repetitive video on making of some red artform with ropes was little irritating - but this can be conveniently ignored. Overall excellent experience. « less

we spent 3 nights in this hotel. it seemed to us as a 3 star hotel, even that would have been better elsewhere. you get at the check in no refreshment towel and no welcome drink, like in other Jumeirah Hotels. The Hotel is fairly new, but the room smelled very strongly of old. The breakfast was absolutely bad. I had diarrhea for days afterwards. also the staff was totally unfriendly, and haphazard. We spent few times in other Jumeirah Hotels, when I came to this hotel, I thought I landed in the wrong hotel. I would have wished that it were so. Unfortunately, it was not so. We visited the bar on the top floor. the prospect was ok. the bar was full with guests and it was still before midnight when the waiter said: last call. the same was in the lower bar the next day. the bar was full of guest. like they do not make money? this hotel does not deserve the name jumeirah. « less

The room was so massive big with perfectly matching amenities in the and what I liked most was the control pannel on the phone which gives you so much freedom to manage every thing you need in the room. Guests service was excellent and the food was good but could have being better with more varieties of food.

My mom and I spent a view days in Dubai. I must first start off by saying that this hotel is literally 5 minutes from the airport. The hotel charged us 150 dharams from airport to the hotel. Being in a strange country for the first time we thought we will rather be safe and use that. It s a rip off. You can rather catch a cab and all the cabs have meters and it was about 18 dharams to get from the hotel back to the airport. Use the cabs they are very safe and we were two women traveling alone. The hotel itself is excellent with the most comfortable bed I ever slept in! the mini bar was complimentary which was lovely. We enjoyed the high tech stuff like opening the curtains with the buttons by the bedside and the free wi-fi. It is about 25 minutes away from the beaches though. They do have free shuttle service but we hardly used that we just used the cabs because it was cheap and convenient as the shuttled have specific times they go and come. There is a fantastic Irish village joined to the hotel grounds, lively atmosphere and a variety of restaurants to choose from. We ate there on two occasions. We also enjoyed the free tickets to the wild wadi park and the Al Madinat beach. You only get one ticket per stay however. If you really want the whole beach experience then this hotel is not for you. It is in a business district and not on the creek at all. The friendliness and the service of the staff however blew us away. We had very overcast weather and the one day it rained all day.
Do the hop on hop off bus tour. Best way to see the whole of Dubai and you need about 2 days to do everything properly. We also did the desert safari camp with Fun Tours. That was absolutely fantastic and a must do if you want an authentic desert experience. « less
