Towneplace Suites is a new moderately priced, all-suite hotel by Marriott that is designed for travelers who will be away from home for a week or even months at a time. Our guest will feel comfortable in our spacious suites, which include a living area, fully equiped kitchen and a sleeping area. We provide one full housekeeping service each week and two refreshes mid-week. Additionally, our service team is available 24 hours a day.

Rooms and rest of hotel are clean and fresh. I was on the top floor (6th) and had NO outside noise from roads or the airport. Heating/air was one of the quietest I've ever had in a hotel room. Seriously, I was very surprised. There was plenty of free, well lit, parking. Rate was $159 for my one night stay. Rooms are typical SpringHill Suites with refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, and sink. Hotel is about 10 years old and just had a remodel within the last year. In my book, that is someone who takes care of their hotel!
Great friendly lady at the front desk who helped me when I checked in.
I stayed here one night (prior to early flight) after a 3 night stay in Pasadena at a Courtyard that cost more and was not nearly as nice. « less

My daughter and I stayed 2 nights during our visit to CSU, Long Beach, about 20 minutes away. Late check-in (around 1 a.m., early Saturday morning) was very quick; room was very comfortable with standard Marriott amenities. Our only issue was Saturday morning for breakfast: there were 2 visiting college teams staying at the hotel, so the food line was long; the breakfast area was very cramped and crowded. Eggs and such disappeared quickly, so replenishing the food was not as quick as we'd hoped. Our breakfast time was a bit longer than usual with fewer choices. The next day we came down to breakfast earlier and were lucky to get breakfast after 1 team had eaten and before the other team showed up, so our breakfast experience was much more enjoyable. Perhaps when you're checking in, ask the front desk folks if there are any visiting college teams staying over (because if you're flexible, eat breakfast earlier or later than them). « less

We apologize that you felt the hotel was in need of a refresh due the furniture and lighting. The hotel recently completed a $2 million renovation at the property. This project included upgrades to guest rooms, lobby and all public spaces at the hotel.
