A very lovely friend of mine and her husband adore this place, and have gone here twice a year for the past two years. As a wedding gift, they gave myself and my husband two nights at this B&B. We were thrilled the moment we drove up to the B&B. The outside is perfect countryside, with deer roaming in the huge field, a wrap-around porch perfect for reading. The inside is beautiful, cozy, welcoming. The entire house is immaculately clean, not a single detail forgotten. We stayed in the Sleigh Room, however we were actually the only guests in the inn (it being a Monday and Tuesday night), giving us free reign of the home. We spent our late nights relaxing in the loft area, which I wish I had in my home! The breakfast in the morning was delicious, my husband and I were both surprised that it was completely different each morning. The owners, Gail and Grant, were so friendly and welcoming. We can't wait to come back!! « less

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! We loved how this home was surrounded by nature and it's beauty. We also loved how personable Gail and Grant were. We felt right at home immediately. One thing we noticed right away was how clean the entire house was. After talking to Gail, I understood why. They are both picky about cleanliness when they travel, therefore they keep a thoroughly cleaned home, inside and out. They made sure we understood to come find them if we needed anything at all. They made our dinner reservations and printed out directions to the airport for us. Just such wonderful Hosts with a beautiful home. Just wished we could have stayed longer. « less

Gail & Grant are probably the reason people like myself dream of one day owning a B&B. They make it look so easy. But you can tell that a lot of thought, time, and elbow grease are put into their endeavor. Like other B&B owners, Gail & Grant live in the main house. And their home truly is your home. Gail warmed up some apple cider & set out a plate of fresh chocolate chip cookies for us at night. We found it on the island in the kitchen where we helped ourselves w/o feeling weird or intrusive. The food was delicious & each course timed very well. The B&B itself was immacualte and cozy. The sheets. WOW those sheets! So much attention to detail. It's a rare gem when you find a place away from home where you dont feel like a guest. A stay here will leave you spoiled for many travels to come. « less

Good news and bad news. Good news that my work enabled us to discover this spectacular gem tucked in the hills. The bad news is we only had one night to enjoy it. Everything about this serene facility was spectacular ... from the impeccable decorations, to the immaculate cleanliness of every room, right down to each nook and cranny. Not a speck or even hint of dust anywhere. And whoever heard of a 3 course breakfast? Well, I am a believer. Gail loves to cook, and it shows: Delicious slice of apple and nut coffee cake to start, then a lovely bowl of mixed fruit, then two wonderful waffles, accompanied by 2 crisp slices of bacon and a hearty slice of just-plucked-from-the-garden tomato, lightly seasoned with pepper. Grant takes pride in the grounds, and it shows, from the perfectly manicured expanse of fields, to the flower beds and vegetable garden, all were a delight for the eyes! Combined, they are the consummate hosts! Did I mention the bowl of vanilla frozen yogurt they provided as a bedtime snack? Did I mention the quiet, inviting common rooms on both floors? Did I mention the fireplaces in each room and the bounty of books everywhere? Did I mention the deer family traveling through the fields at sunrise? Did I mention the hot cup of coffee that warmed me whilst I watched the spectacular sunrise from the porch? Did I mention ... no wait. Quit reading this and go see for yourself. You simply mustn't miss this place if you are any where in the vicinity! Even if you're not close, it should be your destination, sooner rather than later. Signed - a can't-wait-to-go-back Christy « less
