Staybridge Suites Columbus offer three different kind of suites that our guests can choose from, first is the Studio Suites that includes One Queen bed and sleeper sofa. Second type of room that we offer is One Bedroom Suites with 2 double beds offer separate living and sleeping area and bedroom includes 2 double beds and full bath and living room also offer sleeper sofa. Our Third room type is a Two Bedroom Two Bath Suites, This room is about 800 sq.ft. and offer two separate master bedroom, first bedroom offer 1 queen bed and full bath and second bedroom offer 2 queen bed and full bath and in between two bedroom is living room with sleeper sofa and it connect with kitchen. All of the above suites offer full kitchen with microwave, dishwasher, cook top, coffee maker, toaster, full size refrigerator and much more. The suites also offer sleeper sofa, large work desk, Cable TV’s with movie channel, 2-two lines speaker phone and personalize voice mail, iron and ironing board, hair dryer, complimentary wired and Wi-Fi high speed internet service and much more. I often stay at Staybridge suites around the country. They are one of my favorite hotel chains...love the full kitchen, sundowner snacks and beverages in the evening and better than avg breakfast in the morning. I stayed last week for 2 nights...The lobby wall paper and woodwork was torn off and the place in a disarray due to remodeling. At no time prior to my stay did anyone or any web site warn of the torn up lobby. They were refinishing the new woodwork and the stain and paint made the lobby (and sundowner and breakfast) unusable due to the very strong stench....even though the outside doors were propped open. I had planned to spend some time each evening meeting with coworkers relaxing in the lobby. It is fine for hotels to remodel, but guests should be warned before they show up to check in. Other hotel chains post a note on the hotel reservation page and some Marriott's even send an email several days prior to the stay to explain the extent of the remodeling and any facilities that are temporarily unavailable. After my stay, I called the Hotel manager several times over the past week to share my concerns and he left me one missed call voice mail but otherwise has yet to call me back.........That is poor customer service....... I will not be back to this hotel. « less

Spent three nights in Columbus, OH this week for business. Stayed at this hotel and it was a pleasant experience. Not too far from the airport, yet far enough so that the airplanes taking off and landing didn't bother a person. Hotel had a decent free breakfast, pretty typical for these days, but enough to get you going on time into the office without another stop. Staff were courteous and friendly, and always nice to have some cookies when returning late in the evening to munch on. I didn't take advantage of the free managers hours in the evening so can't comment on that. Rooms are mini suites, comfortable and roomy. Wi-fi was easy to connect to. Rooms have full sized fridges and efficiency apartment utensils. I would definitely stay here if I was on an extended trip. « less

The only issue seemed to the lights from the parking lot - with only transparent curtains in the window. So, had to sleep the whole night in full light. They offer free shuttle to/from airport between 6AM to 10PM. « less

We spent one night here in April. It is very convenient to the Columbus airport, just a short car trip down the freeway. The hotel also has a free shuttle to and from the airport. Lots of free parking, free internet in the rooms, free breakfast and free evening meal, which was a light buffet with salad and chicken quesadillas, beer and wine. You cannot beat the value. The staff here was consistently friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and well appointed. You can open the windows if you want fresh air. You will hear occasional aircraft flying over, but the planes don't fly much at night, so it didn't bother us even with the window open. Over all a very pleasant experience. Would definitely recommend and return again if in the area. « less

We had a problem with heat at a hotel we won on name your own price on Priceline. Priceline finally agreed to move us and refund our money. This all took place at 12:30 AM. They obtained this hotel for us. We loaded up and moved over to this hotel which was very close. We had to ring the bell to be let in, and this is understandable due to the late nature. However after we were let in we were rudely greeted with You know check out time is 12 noon. No welcome to Staybridge Suites, no how can I help you. Just making sure we knew check out time. I replied we will be gone long before that and yes I knew THAT. Explained to front desk clerk LIna that Priceline had just made a ressie for us since we had no heat at previous location. She pulled it up on the computer, but said she couldn't check us in as Priceline did not send a price, and there hd to be a price on the ressie. She proceeded to call which I believed was PRiceline(more on this later) she had trouble getting through as it was quite early. She finally got through and was going back and forth with the person on the other end, something about a ressie number. I laid my paper with my previous ressie number on the counter along with the confirmation number for the Staybridge ressie I pushed them towards her, but she never looked at them. Finally she slammed the phone down on the counter and said you have to talk to them and she then slammed the door to the office and stormed in there. I got on the phone and talked to the lady, and gave her the numbers, she finally said ma'am I do not have a ressie anywhere for you with Expedia. I said I didn't make one through Expedia. By this time LIna had come out of the office, and was going about her business. I hung the phone up and looked at her and said you called Expedia, I told you Priceline, she said no you said Expedia, at that point my 18 year old daughter spoke up and said she told you Priceline. Lina then got back on the phone with Priceline, and still the papers still were laying on the counter. She kept hanging up so I got on my cellphone and tried, it was hard to get through. when she saw what I was doing she quit trying, She also stated well I don't have the number, I said it is laying right here and you never asked me for it, she replied you never gave it to me, again major attitude. I finally got through with them but was having issues with them. In the meantime LIna said I could pay for the room myself and then when it was straightened out with Pricline I would get my money back. Now after her attitude no way was I going to try this and I didn't feel I should have too. Finally she agreed to a reduced rate and wouldn't charge my card unless they never heard back at all from PRiceline. beinng that it was now almost 2 AM I gave her y CC and checked in. Finally at 230 everything was straightened out. My card never was charged. I feel Lina had an attitude from the start, after being greeted with you know check out is 12 noon. Needless to say I had very little sleep that night/morning. I did contact Intercontinental Hotels( the parent group) the next day, but as of today April 19, 2013 I have not heard a word from them. Don't arrive late or she will be rude, and don't make your ressie with Priceline because they don't know how to handle it at this hotel. I've used Priceline several timesrand at much higher stars then this hotel, and was never treated as rudely as I was at this property. I ave always been treated respectfully even making ressie with Priceline. « less
