The Best Western Fairfax is centrally located between I-66 and Route 50. We are 12 miles from Downtown D.C., and about 12 miles from Dulles Airport. We are two miles away from the beginning of the Orange Metro Line. The Cue Bus picks up and drops off in front of our hotel. Also George Mason University is located 2 miles up the road. We offer a microwave and refrigerator in each room, and wireless high speed internet throughout the hotel. Also,a business center is in the lobby, and an American Breakfast Buffet is complimentary and is served in the restaurant each morning. There is a shopping center that is close, and Fair Oaks Mall which is located about 5 miles away. There are also plenty of restaurants that are walking distance. We also offer three meeting rooms upstairs, a total of 1,952 square feet. This space can also be used for birthday parties, reunions, banquets, and wedding receptions.

The hotel was very nice. Clean, and lovely grounds. I was glad to be on the first floor as there are no elevators to the 2nd and 3rd floors. It was very close to the Metro whcih we used every day. The stop was one exit away on easily accessable hwy. The service at the hotel was excellent. Friendly and helpful, they even printed us directions to Gettysburg. The breakfast was great. Good hot and cold selections, real china and silverware, and the room was a restaurant with nice tables and booths, plenty of room. Although the pool was not open, it was a lovely area. We were close to restaruants and stores like Walmart and grocery shopping. We did our wash in the coin operated laudry, all was very clean and accommodating. Would stay there again in a minute! « less

Me and my family stayed here on a long weekend trip to Virgina and Washington DC. The rooms were quaint and the restaurant on site had a nice selection for breakfast. The staff was not only friendly but very helpful. Being our first time there anytime we asked for directions somewhere, they made sure we had directions. All in all we had a wonderful trip and plan to stay again. « less

We stayed at this motel during our Washington, DC spring break vacation. It is close to the Vienna metro station, located just off I-66, has a free breakfast, and was very reasonably priced. It is true there are no elevators for guests, but they did have someone take our bags to our room for us, so that was not a problem. They also had cookies for the kids when we arrived. We had a room with 2 queen beds on the 3rd floor. The way this motel is set up, you only had to walk up 1 flight of stairs to reach the 3rd floor from the parking lot, so no big deal. Our room overlooked the shamrock-shaped pool with a fountain running, even though it snowed while we were there. The rooms are dated, but clean for the most part. There was a small amount of mold in the grout in the shower, but that was the only thing I noticed. The linens were clean and in good shape and the queen beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was great! There is an actual restaurant off the main lobby that they use for the breakfast area. Each morning, there were at least 6 hot items to choose from, including real scrambled eggs, pancakes or french toast, 2 different sausages, grits, oatmeal and more. There are also waffles, which were quite good, too. I also used the laundry room, which was clean and inexpensive. I have payed triple for laundry in other hotels... Overall, I would recommend this hotel to budget-conscious travelers. For the price, we felt we got our money's worth. « less
