Checkin and checkout process was quick and easy. I even asked assistant manager about a good restaurant. And she made a wonderful suggestion. Clear Springs Cafe is in walking distance! ! We were in town for a youth soccer tournament at the UTPB fields in Odessa Tx. While most of the team went for a Hotel that offered playground equitment and an indoor pool they paid for it big time. They paid a 139$ discounted price and there rooms were not even nice and had alot of oilfield people in there with there boots and gloves and beer bottles sitting outside there doors in the walk way. Me and my wife went for the bargin through choicehotels.com and booked the Sleep Inn at 103$ dollars a night. The room was beautiful and quiet we never heard anyone in the adjoining rooms the two days we were there. They have double beds and the rooms can be a bit small but is perfect for our needs. We use it for mainly sleeping in, and had only one kid with us one more would not have made much of a difference. I like the fact they had a closet in the room which gets your items out of the way and out of sight. The hotel is across from the Rock hounds stadium and easy to walk too. The UTPB soccer fields are about a 10-15 min. drive straight down Hwy 191 which is convenient. The closes store is a Sam's club which is right across the street behind the hotel. The breakfast is great they offer a good selection and alternate bacon and sausage. They also offer waffles, cearal, biscuits, gravy, boiled eggs, fruit cups, yogurt, 3 juices, coffee. The rooms have thermostats in them which is great no messing with high low features on a wall unit. If you are not use to digital channels the T.V. can take a little to figure out just keep in mind you have to enter 26-11 instead of 11 for example. The pool area was nice and they keep towels by the door you can grab on your way out. They have a nice shaded area with furniture to sit on, and a small putting green in there pool area. « less

We had wonderful stay in Midland and I was pleasantly surprised. We'd driven in from Phoenix and were exhausted by the time we got to Midland. The bedroom and bathroom were very clean and while we didn't watch TV, there was a great large flat-screen TV available which I liked. We had breakfast before we left. While it was simple continental style, the presentation of the breakfast items was well organized, clean and appealing. Desk staff were gracious and welcoming and helpful in finding area restaurants that would provide good food. I would definitely recommend this hotel. « less

I had a nice stay in The Sleep Inn and Suites (Midland, TX). The staff was friendly and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The hotel is newer and you can tell with the upgrades in the bathrooms. Breakfast is pretty good and offers enough options to give you a decent meal. You won't mistake it for an Embassy Suites breakfast but is okay in a pinch. The beds are comfy but the pillows are not as firm as I like. The pool is pretty good and gives the kids something to do. « less
