I recently stayed 3 nights at the Aloft while in town for a wedding. The hotel was in a good location (walking distance to 19th street, the main shopping/restaurant area of Homewood Village) and the staff members were all very friendly. The room was clean and the housekeeping service was efficient (they came early) and tossed the room daily. The hotel had a dorm-like feel to it though. The rooms were small and felt very much like an Ikea display. The bed was not very comfortable and only had 2 pillows + 1 extra (for 2 people). Also be aware that the standard rooms have NO drawers.
It was not an unpleasant experience and the free coffee in the lobby, free parking and lobby bar area were conveniences that were nice to have during this wedding weekend. « less
