I read a lot about the area hotels from other families that had gone to thier child's Navy Boot Camp Graduation and was very worried due to all of the bad reviews from the hotels that are closer to the base. Homewood Suites was only about 12 miles from the base. The room as very nice and clean. The staff was very accommodating, providing a list of local stores and restaurants. A bit of advise if you have not been to the Chicago area before there are a ton of tolls, get change!!! Or if your getting rental car the have an Ipass that you can get as well. « less

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The staff was friendly, helpful, and very good at their jobs. The room was a home-away-from-home during several business meetings and we found it quite comfortable for working and relaxing. The room layout is like a small apartment and the kitchen was outfitted in such a way that we could cook our own meals when we wished. Thanks, Homewood Suites! « less
