Guest services was friendly (front desk called about half hour after arrival to check to make sure everything was OK). Room was excellent. Beds were comfortable. Was one of the best rooms we have stayed and would return if in the area. We didn't eat breakfast so I can't comment. I give this hotel a big thumbs up!! « less

My first review of this hotel back in 2010 wasn't as favorable due to bug issues mainly, but I've since stayed at this hotel a few more times and most times have been fine to great. I had been staying in the Holiday Inn Express close by, but about a year ago or so they went up a good bit on their rates (by over $20) and said to heck with that and gave the Quality Inn another shot. Rooms are pretty clean and the hotel is still relatively new. This hotel does not have an elevator so if you can't do stairs be sure to call the hotel direct to make your reservations, because if you book through the website or their corporate number you are at their mercy. The breakfast isn't that good as it is nearly completely carbs and I usually just go right next door to either Subway for a breakfast sandwich or Cracker Barrell which is about 2 mins away and their are other options as well. I now recommend this hotel, but would suggest to spend the money you save at this hotel by buying your breakfast elsewhere unless you like a light carb breakfast. Thanks! « less

First room offered had a very strong odor of smoke, which seemed odd in this smoke-free hotel. They switched us without any hassle. Pool was closed because it was too cold and breakfast was fine. Not many restaurants open past 10pm but lots of fast food only a minute away. We would stay here again if we go through the area again. « less

Our third visit here....staying while attending Talledega Nascar Race....As always the staff and manager at this location greeted us with open arms at 11:00 pm, and never quit being helpful to everyone. Embracing the impact of the Nascar enthusiastic fans, as well as the Z National racers, they once again did everything possible to make our stay as enjoyable as we had hoped. I (myself) had booked the wrong day for arrival and yet they helped us through our plight...(thanks Brittney), the manager was there late easing us into our room.....Many thanks for all the special help.....The rooms were welcoming and CLEAN as usual....and who could forget Joy maintaining the cleanliness of the breakfast area, restocking coffee etc.....and then making waffles for everyone!!! It was an instant morning party happening....such fun!!! I might add Joy was there at 11:00pm when we arrived as well.....doesn't she sleep????.....anyway Highly recommend this one, they really work hard with the customers best interest...would book for next year now, just don't know the date yet! Only 55 miles to the track, an easy drive, reasonably priced.....with a bonus of friendly faces!!! THANKS « less
