Torn ragged curtain and peeling chipped paint that was noticeable because it was painted dark over light. Pay close attention to your bill had to have a $4 safe charge removed. This safe charge seems to be a new trend in trying to charge for services not used. « less

We stayed during fiesta weekend & you could feel it in the atmosphere. Guests were allowed to BBQ in parking lot & party on the balcony till all hours. We were able to walk to the local VFW & grabbed a taxi to & from the market square. We felt safe & felt welcomed by other guests whom have been repeat customers for over ten years. This is not a hotel I would recommend for staying in San Antonio, though it is located close to downtown und relatively cheap. It urgently needs a complete renovation, the service is not good, e.g. my room was not cleaned up, though I arrived one day later because of traveling problems. I didn´t get a complete set of towels when required, the air condition in my room didn´t work, the water in the swimming pool was dirty. Many other guests were complaining about inconveniences as well - so it was no pleasure staying there! « less
