Checking in was fast and easy the staff was friendly helpful and beyond accommodating. Nice and very modern lobby with plenty of tables, couple of booths, and computer and printing services as well which is very convenient. They have a bistro as well where they have breakfast and dinner and also serve alcoholic beverages. Only down side is breakfast is only from 6-930 and dinner is from 5-10 which sucks should stay open the whole day. The first room I checked into was okay but on one of the beds I could tell the sheets hadn't been changed. I ask to move to another room but was told I couldn't so they called housekeeping and they changed the sheets. Couldn't find the damn ice machine. Decided to stay another night and checked into another room and again the staff was very helpful upon checking in room was clean and had easy access to the pool which we took for advantage of but again couldn't find the damn ice machine.
Pros- close to highway, modernish rooms, friendly staff, was able to check late checkout, pool, restaurant
Cons- no ice machine on the first floor, housekeeping needs to do a better job, bar/ restaurant is limited in hours of operations, not easily identified from the outside needs a sign.

I have talked with my housekeeper on you findings to eliminate such re occurrence. And I due apologize that base on our main floor lay out our ice machines are located on the east end of the building close to our wonderfully renovated gym we hope to see you again while in West Palm Beach

The lobby is brand new, very modern but that's it, the rooms are a bit old and in need of upgrades. Overall, the hotel is ok for one night, in and out..... « less

Over facility had been newly renovated both lobby and guest rooms space. Featuring complementary high speed internet throughout the facility and a new restaurant The Bistro which creates a space to eat drink and connect in our semi enclosed Media Pods. In the next 5mths the facility will be furnish with all new bedding. And we have taken action with our pest control company on sealing the areas that had allowed palmetto bugs to enter our room.

I've stayed at many Courtyards over the years and overall my experience has been positive. Check-in went smoothly and the room initially appeared "ok" and clean. After settling in, I walked into the bathroom to be greeted by a giant cockroach.... Took a quick pic, repacked my stuff (in a panic), and headed down to the front desk with my discovery. Trying not to create much of a scene, I notified the clerk who asked "What's that?" - DUDE - IT'S A GIANT FLYING COCKROACH! At which point he offered to move me to another room. Nope - If the thing's in one room and made it all the to the bathroom, I am pretty sure they exist in all the other rooms. I asked to be moved to another hotel to which the managers response was "You can use our internet to look for a room - There's a Holiday Inn across the street." - Gee thanks.... I left. Would NOT recommend this place to anyone. « less

This Courtyard is located fairly close to I-95, so getting to other parts of the West Palm area is convenient. They have renovated the lobby to include several seating areas, an office area with three computers and printers, and a bistro. The office area was functional, although there was absolutely no privacy since the computer screens faced the main lobby area. There was plenty of paper to refill the printers, and lots of pens, but no stapler. The bistro was nicely decorated and offered table service, but the prices were rather high for what is being provided. There is also a little "market" area to the right of the check-in desk, offering extremely overpriced items such as candy, toiletries and microwave meals. The microwave was so filthy, I could not use it and asked the front desk staff if they had cleaning supplies. They tried to clean it, but ultimately a maintenance man took the whole thing away to be cleaned in private! The room was nicely decorated, but the mattress was hard and cheap looking. I agree with some of the other reviewers on this point. The linen was cheap and the blankets thin, but I adjusted the thermostat to a more moderate temperature, which took care of that issue. There is a large flat screen television, and wifi in the room which worked just fine. There are, however, two tiers of wifi: the free service is only sufficient for checking email and going on Facebook, not for streaming Netflix or similar activities. For this you need to have the $4.95/day wifi. I thought this was worth the money, since I prefer to watch Netflix rather than watch television. However, at check-out I noticed that they had charged me $6.95/day. I brought this to their attention and the $2/day was refunded immediately. Sneaky, yes? All told, this was a decent place to stay and served my needs well enough. Is it up to Marriott standards? Probably not. Could they improve on a few things? Absolutely! But I'd return if I was able to get the same price as I had through Hotwire. « less

I've stayed in many Courtyards before and never had an issue with one of them. This one is by-far the worst one I've stayed in. Yes it's got a new lobby, but no one actually stays in the lobby so why not invest some money in upgrading the dingy, outdated rooms in the hotel. My biggest complaints...the mattress was SO uncomfortable. No pillow top, no cushion on top of the mattress, just a simple $100 looking mattress with linens that looked like someone took down some old white drapes and put them on the bed. Linens were so sheer that you could see the mattress pad (which was about twice as thick as the sheet) below the top sheet. Horrible. Towels...well, I asked multiple times for extra towels but there must have been a shortage of them so I got what I got. the kicker is that one night I asked my girlfriend if she smelled weed in the room. She said yes. We came back to the hotel the following day to find the maid service taking care of the room (at 4pm mind you) and after the woman left, the whole room smelled like weed! Thanks for getting high in our room so we have to deal with the smell! I suggest you pass on this hotel and look for another. It's not worth the overpriced rate for something that does not meet up to the standards of other Courtyards. My suggestion is to look elsewhere. « less
