The Veranda Bed & Breakfast offers a unique alternative to the traditional hotel. From the private, intimate rooms to the lush foliage, this charming villa-like haven is a welcome respite. Tucked away in historic Thornton Park our four buildings, dating back to the early 1900’s, offer ten beautifully appointed guest rooms. Recently renovated our queen and king size guest suites offer all the modern amenities.
The buildings that comprise The Veranda Bed and Breakfast were built in 1913 by Luther Black and used as a winter retreat from the Northeast for he and his wife. Originally renovated in the fall of 1993, The Veranda Bed and Breakfast opened in the spring of 1994.
Today, The Veranda is locally owned and operated. Each building has been completely renovated as of 2009 and reflects upscale Florida style.
The Veranda offers complete event and wedding packages for up to two hundred guests or as intimate as two. The picturesque courtyards are perfect for your event. From our Magnolia Courtyard to the private gazebo you will be enchanted by our unique outdoor setting.
*All rooms except for the Key Lime Suite have one bed per room.
