Me and my grandad checked in for 8 nights whilst I was flying around Florida for my Pilot Training. The hotel is modern and the rooms are very nicely laid out. The bathroom area is substantial. It is located in an affluent area and is off the main road.
The hotel has free Wifi and breakfast which offers cereals some hot food and pancakes; including fresh coffee varieties. However; the pool area is quite small and when we visited 7th to the 15th April it was too cold to go in. There was no hot tub or Jacuzzi; however on the whole for the money it was a very good stay and those at the hotel where very polite, welcoming and happy to assist you if needed. Oh! the car parking is free too!
Local Area Within walking distance you can visit Midtown with a whole host of restaurants, supermarket and liquor stores. Or downtown a block or so further on. We done this every night and there is only 1 busy road to cross but my 73 granddad managed it easily!
Downtown again has more restaurants and a few bars and a club. The mall is also round the corner. « less

From the ample parking lot to the stroll into the lobby, I was greeted by friendly faces with a smile and a greeting. Not something I'm always used to with large Hampton Inn hotels, but, in this case, the intro was a good segway into what a treat I was in for. The check in was flawless, and the room spacious and clean, without the tell tale of lesser maintained places: bad carpet. Nope! The carpet was well maintained and every detail from the folding of the toilet paper to the laptop pillow desk was impeccable. The breakfast was continental, but, the service and the cook was the difference. For a buffet style; this was fresh and ample with a large variety. Pretty darned good stay for the company summit. « less

I was placed in a smoking room despite the fact that I was a non-smoker and the room smelled of smoke. A cleaning was supposed to be performed, but it never happened. Their manager's social was not really a social. It was free wine,snacks and beer available in the breakfast area. There was no socialization unless you were already with someone. I was alone so I didn't feel it qualified as a "social". « less
