Stayed here for one night after shopping the outlets in Birch Run and eating at Mexican Town. Got a great deal through hotels.com for $82 tax included and buffet breakfast included. The standard room with one king bed was very clean and suited our needs perfectly. The only issue was connecting to their wi-fi but they have a toll-free number to call and it was fixed within minutes. I love buffet breakfasts while on vacation and this one was pretty darn good. « less

We stayed at this hotel on our way home from Asia (one stop at Detroit) They provided convenient shuttle bus to and from airport. The bus drivers were very friendly. Check in was nice and smooth. They had cookies and coffee in the lobby at check in time. The room was nice and comfortable. Though slightly dated in some areas but it seemed to be a very typical Marriott décor and some updated features such as a large flat panel TV. Free in room Wi-Fi was also a standard amenity and the signal was fast and reliable. Nice heated indoor heated swinging pool and spa. While there seemed to have some events going on in the hotel, the pool area was empty, so we could relax and enjoy the nice spa and pool. After we got home, the credit card showed that the hotel had charged us $2- we had traveled worldwide and it had never happen before, we have no idea why they charged us the $2 and it seemed silly to call the credit card company just for the 2 dollar charge but it definitely diminished how we felt about this hotel. They got a 4 star instead of 5 just because of this. Overall, we do like the hotel for its convenient shuttle bus to and from the airport, comfortable room, and the pool. Definitely won’t mind one stop at Detroit again at all. « less

The restaurant, bar, and food service is mediocre at the hotel. They are very convenient to the airport, and offer nice shuttle service and a great park and fly program. It is quiet for the location. « less

We weren't a big fan of the pub/bar food options as they seemed very limited. The one odd complaint about the hotel would be the elevators had a weird chemical smell/odor. « less
