I checked into this hotel late Thursday evening and after check in I went into the room and I was not very happy about a few maintenance issues.
I called to the front desk and Wil Adams (the front desk clerk) came up to the room asked about my concerns and though the hotel was fully booked he managed to accommodate me with another room because he wanted us to be happy.
We changed rooms and found it to be acceptable. After the normal bed bug check and the usual room sanitizing, we settled in for the night.
Most of the staff was friendly and we had no problems. Breakfast was nothing special but it seemed OK.
When we were checking out and removing our linen from off of their linen...I found hairs on the bed under the blanket that weren't mine and a little bug scrambling around on the bed by the hairs, that died without being identified. So I don't know what kind of insect that I killed was.
I do not ask for housekeeping to clean or enter the room during my stay...if I need something I normally get it from them when I see them. But because I place my own linen over theirs I did not discover the offensive and disgusting bed items. Thankfully.
This trip was for a funeral of a dear friend and though I appreciate good staff like Wil Adams the overlooking of this hygienic issue can not be condoned.
If I could do this one over...I would stay somewhere else even if it meant spending more money to do so. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. « less

I travel for business and have found most Sleep Inns to be quite comfortable, clean, affordable and usually have a decent hot breakfast. 90% of the time I stay in Sleep Inns. I made a bad assumption on this one. At $89 a night off season this one was higher than most. I thought I would try this one over the beach Sleep Inn because it was closer to my customer base. To start the front desk attendant was very unfriendly. No thank you for being a Choice Privileges member, no thank you for being Platinum member, no thank you for just staying with us...no nothing. I get to the room and it is...ok at best. Smells a little funny but so do I at the end at most days. Go to take a shower and the bathroom floor is dirty so I put the floor towel down. No problem. I go to dry off after the shower and notice as I am drying that my towel is dirty. That aggravated me a little but whatever, right? So after dinner I come back and pull the covers back only to find a couple of BUGS!!! Not bed bugs but bugs all the same. I go to the front desk to complain but no one would come to desk. I return to my room and try the other bed. No bugs. So I sleep in that bed. Wake up the next morning to notice that one of the pillows I did not use was dirty. My bad for not checking the pillows. Long story short this place was terrible. Don't expect much for breakfast either. I can get over a lot of things but a dirty room and bed I can not. I recommend anywhere but here. « less

Stay at this hotel for a romance trip it was very unclean, breakfast was bad and they even served stale bread twice, decided to leave early because we were uncomfortable with the room this hotel does not give you your money back if you leave early they had a no refund policy, WHAT i should have known that when I seen Patel on the franchise...smh I was so pissed they don't give you your money back for days unused on your reservation......don't waste your time you will be disappointed if you do. First of all, the check-in is supposed to be at 2 PM. We arrive at the hotel at 1:30PM and they said that the room was not ready and told us that they will call us as soon as the room is done. They will give it a higher priority since we are already here. After 2:30PM, still didn't receive any call from them. We came back to the hotel at 3:00PM, room was still not ready. They went ahead and checked us in. Room was not ready until 3:30PM. With a long 5 hour drive to get here, you would expect your room to be ready by the time you get here at least at check-in time. But this didn't happen. We have booked a suite room and it is supposed to come with refrigerator. Came in the room and refrigerator was nowhere to be found. Ask the front desk about it and they said, they will take care of it. Refrigerator didn’t come until the last night we were in. Too late already. Their lame excuse was --- they were fully booked and they cannot pull other people’s ref in their room. What I don’t understand is why do they have to pull another room’s ref when all rooms are supposed to come with refrigerator.
Breakfast is free in this hotel. But don’t expect too much because if you come in and eat breakfast a little after 8 AM. You won’t have nothing left. They ran out of everything and it took them forever to refill all of these food and coffee.
Check-out was just as horrible as the Check-in. Took 30 minutes to check us out. HORRIBLE. If you want a better service for the same price. Check out other hotels in this area. There are other hotels that serve way better for just the same price in this area. « less
