When we turned down the covers after a long day on the road the sheets were CRUSTY. Pointed this out to the night manager who came to the room and said "OOOH, that's not good". She spoke to the general manager who said that we could transfer to another room... I asked if she could find a room where the sheets had been changed that day and she told us that she didn't have that information. To her credit, the night clerk apologized and tried to be very helpful. After getting clean sheets, she said we wouldn't be charged for the stay. Next morning general manager shows up and said she gave us a discount, but would charge for the stay (by the time we discovered the nasty sheets it was about 10:45 p.m. and we didn't want to go to another place at that hour). When I objected and said that she told the night manager we wouldn't be charged, she said "Maybe I should fire the night manager". I objected again and she asked me if I wanted to be escorted off the property by the police. Got home, checked my bank statement and... you guessed it... Full price charged. The sheets were nasty and the general manager was even more so. Will avoid Ramada from now on « less

Nothing "shiny" about this place, but served as an acceptable place to stay overnight. « less
