We arrived at 7AM in Greenville, after an all-nighter driving from Pa. We went in to see when we could check in, and were thrilled when we were offered a room immediately if we moved from the first floor to the second. We jumped at it; a wonderful , hot breakfast was offered, and the desk clerk went out of her way to make us feel welcomed, even when we had arrived so early. Rooms were gorgeous; beds were more comfortable than our own! Cannot say enough about this fantastic place. Incredible stay at a fabulous price! « less

We have stayed here three years in a row for fine arts competition. This year when we were parking our car we had an inebriated gentleman yelling at us. Another friend of ours, a lady, was having trouble with her card key and two other inebriated gentlemen came to help her, but made her feel very uncomfortable. We noticed people from surrounding hotels coming for happy hour, but feel this compromises the security of the hotel guests. I'm sure it raises a lot of money, but I'm not sure we will stay here again. « less

Near an interstate, this two-storey motel doesn't look special from the outside. But we were very pleased. Our suite appeared to have once been standard hotel rooms, turned into a spacious living area and roomy bedroom, so large my son called it "the house." The breakfast buffet was excellent: two kinds of eggs, biscuits, gravy, sausage, and more. Excellent for attending convention at TD Convention Center. « less

I have stayed at this Clarion a number of times over the past few months, and they have always been a good stay, but have gotten progressively better each time.
The hotel is conveniently located off the highway, and is close to downtown, the haywood mall, a Walgreens, two banks, a gas station, and a number of restaurants.
The beds are very comfortable and the rooms are always clean. I have even seen the staff washing the vents of the HVAC units, so you know that the unit is not blowing around dusty air.
Their fitness center is well equipped and clean with two treadmills, an elliptical, a universal machine, and a recumbant bicycle.
The staff is very friendly, helpful, and greet me by name.
The breakfast is far beyond the classic continental including eggs with and without ham, sausage or bacon, biscuits and gravy, coffee, juice, cereal, breads, etc. « less
