I just returned from a one night stay at the Radisson Blu Dortmund. It´s a really nice hotel, although it´s sort of outside the city. It´s very quiet and has really nice rooms which are comfortable and spacious. I ordered dinner from room service and it was excellent. The breakfast is fantastic with a huge choice. The management is very efficient and cordial. I would certainly recommend this hotel if you need to travel to Dortmund. « less

Clean lines, simple business hotel. Front desk staff were very friendly and efficient. Good atmosphere from the staff. Room was small but functional, typical europe hotel room. Restaurant in the hotel had a good menu and food was fast and good. Breakfast was the usual europe spread.
Location is away from city center, near the gardens. Essentially there is nothing much around the hotel.

Because of the brand change we will renovate the whole property (rooms, restaurants, etc.) in the next month. The bar will get a new Design as well. You are right, that the rooms have all the same size, but the difference is among other things the location. The superior rooms have a park view. I`m sorry that you`ve got a wrong information regarding the Internet. WLAN is free of charge in all rooms.

We were delighted to discover this hotel, as it is close to the Concert Hall Westphalenhalle. All the staff is gentle, smiling, and sincerely attentive to the requests of the customer. At the arrival there was a problem with our reservation (the fault was of the broker´s , not of Radisson) and Mr. Kaufmann immediately found a much better solution at the reception. We asked for the additional bed and after 5 minutes the staff arrived smiling to our room. In the room we found very modern equipment for preparing cofee and teas of different blends. Windows were aboslutely noiseproof. Heating working well and very silent . . All the staff wears an elegant uniform and never stop smiling. Even if you are nervous, you cannot but calm down in front of such nice and genuine professionals. Breakfast is simply fabulous and it is worht every cent we spent. .Free wifi with excellent connection. Free access to swimming pool and sauna included. Excellent restaurant with menu at reasonable prices, Sundays they have the German brunch as it is usual around within Germany. Rooms are new, modern, and furnished with taste. Rugs are new and this is a kingdom for cleaness. Please consider their Tief-garage deserves an extra fee, but outside around there are at least three huge open space parkings. In this place we could enjoy high standards of customer-oriented behaviour. They were of course more than happy to give advice on public transport, on the weather, on how to visit Dortmund cultural places. Very easy to reach from the motorway. Very close , at a stone.'s throw, there is a station of the subway. « less

This is a reasonable and average hotel for business on the outskirts of Dortmund. It's location is useful if visiting some of the nearby companies located in the business park, but other than that I wouldn't choose to stay here.
The hotel itself is pleasant enough, with a spacious lobby and bar area. There appeared to be several conferences in the hotel so it was quite busy when I was there.
The rooms are quite a let down. They are tired and really lacking in style or comfort. The bed I had was pretty lumpy and the temperature was difficult to control.
The breakfast area had quite a variety and its on offer, certainly no than would be expected in small business hotel in Germany. « less
