This recently upgraded hotel is a great sports, reunion, or group hotel with interior corridors for a safer environment. Property amenities include a large pool, Jacuzzi, kiddie pool, playground, mini golf, sand volleyball, basketball, tennis courts and a parking lot that will accomodate buses. The property sits adjacent to a pond with swings for a wonderful view of Central Florida's nature. There is meeting space of 1848 sq ft with a seating capacity of up to 110 banquet style, and an adjacent food galley allows easy preparation and storage for your very special event. Although the property does not currently have a food & beverage department, there is a franchised restaurant on property that will be happy to service our groups. There is a complimentary shuttle service to the Walt Disney World Theme Parks, however, this service does not apply to group bookings. Transportation services to Sea World and Universal Studios are fee based per person round trip. We have a great staff, the property is clean, comfortable and best of all, America's Best Inn Main Gate East is geared toward budget minded people.

We didnt have any horrible problems with this hotel like some of the other reviews suggest. It was clean and comfortable. The staff could work on there customer service as it seemed grudging at times to have to "deal" with customers and also we had kids running up and down our hallway one night screaming and playing and staff did nothing to cease the disturbance which I thought was strange since the reception desk was literally around the corner so there was no way they could not hear the noise. The hotel is also located near a couple of good food outlets which made it easy after a long day at the themeparks. It was ok if your on a budget « less

THE BAD :when i first walked to the counter it looked half dicent , but once i came to the elevater i knew it was a DUMP,, the rugs where desgusting all over including room rug also shower was painted and paint was peeling of the the wall tiles !!that wernt supposed to have paint in the first place , pic that !! then no micowave , no frige,,then the place had a bunch of tenents living there witch all looked gettooo !! i felt so unsafe that every night i stayed there i would put one of the table chairs at the door ,, i didnt have a chioce to leave cause i booked online and it was paid for before i got there,,this place actualy looks like about 15 yrs ago it was very nice but looks like it was shout down about 10 yrs ago and they just reopened it with out doing anything to it ,pic that one !! We spent the night while visiting Orlando for the New Year. First glance it looks to be a good place to rest but entering the room started the worst way to bring in 2013. At close inspection of the sheets I noticed black short hairs all over both layers of the sheets on the bed as well as the pillows. I went to call the front desk but the telephone cord in the room was missing, definitely was not ment to be a wireless. The bathroom was filthy and the shower head was broken and leaking. When the lights went off, out came the roaches. My wife and I slept with the lights on while on what I hope were new sheets I got from the front desk. Please stay away from this place. Better off finding some comfort in your car then at this place. « less

America's Best Inn was 1 of 2 that had a room, well, the other one is what I thought was unsafe so we chose ABI...HA!!! There are too many bads to even start the list. Everything old, stinky but the most important is the locks on the door are crap. Just don't stay here. Maybe one day they will do all the upgrades but I'm sure that is a whole lot of money. Will add that I did see no bugs. « less
