We just completed a 3-night stay here and loved it. Very friendly staff, and large, comfortable rooms. For us, it was a great location -- a short, easy walk into downtown Napa. But the highlight was the beautiful grounds, complete with swans (with babies) and ducks (with babies). Very quiet and serene. We were very pleased with this property. « less

Overall, the Napa Embassy Suites Hotel has about the best facility for the money in the Napa area. When you throw in a a made to order breakfast, and a nightly "Manager's Reception", it is hard to beat the price. The staff is friendly and the service is excellent. Everyone goes out of their way to ask you if there is anything they can do for you and endeavor to make your stay as pleasant as possible. « less

I was pretty underwhelmed when I walked through this hotel and into my room. The guy working the front desk was very nice and should be commended for that, but the rest of it was a wash. The lobby and outside grounds of this hotel are nice, but the interior definitely lacks something. It is one of those places that seems tired and a little grungy despite the apparent room upgrades. The rooms had really low ceilings, very little natural light and kind of reminded me of cave dwellings or something. There seemed to be lingering construction and the hallways needed a facelift. Ultimately I really didn't like the ambiance and moved to the Marriott, which was an improvement and also more convenient, although to be fair I probably wouldn't stay at the Marriott again either if I had a choice. Neither hotel was what I would consider above-average. « less

We like to stay in nicer hotels but not to the point that we would pay an outragous amount to stay there. This hotel fulfilled our needs for our Napa Vacation for 3 adults. Room clean, spaceous, comfortable - small kitchen type area to keep snacks. Had sink in bedroom and in bathroom which is a nice plus for several people getting ready. We walked to town - good mile if able with sidewalks. Close to everything in Napa and Sonoma Valley - we did all. Great deal with breakfast & evening cocktails and snacks - would stay again. « less
