The staff was excellent, providing the kind of attitude and service that you expect in this type of golf resort! The golf itself was fantastic, along with everyone from the pro shop to the starter! (Even tho he is a Browns fan!) We did have meetings on site along with dinner everynight and found absolutely nothing to complain about. Instead, we were so impressed with the Villa and the rest of the resort that we have decided to have our Fall Sr Mgr meetings there! Outstanding stay and "Thanks" to the staff! « less

Whether on business or pleasure trips to Orlando, the Villas of Grand Cypress is our destination of choice. The service is second to none. The entire set of Villa courts have received a complete First Class renovation. The super comfortable King size beds and bathrooms are perfect.
The staff is super responsive and can take care of your every need.
The on-site restaurants are outstanding in both service and exceptional taste. When entertaining top clients, I prefer to dine at the exclusive 918 restaurant. The shrimp cocktails look like baby lobster tails and the Cowboy Steak puts anything from Morton's or Ruth Chris to shame!

We love hearing the virtues of our beloved Nine18 extolled so jubilantly! Those shrimp cocktails are a force to be reckoned with, and we are glad the general consensus is becoming as such. What a hip idea to have drinks on one’s villa patio before heading to one of the property restaurants for dinner. And since every room on property comes equipped with either a first-floor patio or a second-story balcony and either a golf course or water view, there is no reason not to!

We stayed at this hotel from 04/22 to 04/25. What can I say? It was great. The hotel is new, in the middle of a golf club. The villas are spetacular!!! My kids love it. The people are extremely polite too.
Our two bedroom villa is beatufil. the annemities are great two. The breakfest is an american breakfast. For our brazilian taste it is not so good. So, if I stay there again, I will not take the breakfast.
I recommed the hotel for everyone. ps: I stayed in two other others in Orlando: Waldorf Astoria an Sheraton Vistana. Both are not good as Grand Cypress,Even Waldorf, that is considered one of the best of Orlando. Villas of Grand Cypress is better. More luxury. « less

Kids can often be the most astute critics, so I am relieved that the Villas exceeded your young ones’ expectations! Next time you’re in town, Lauren at the clubhouse recommends you try our Breakfast Quesadilla if you’re seeking a bit of Latin influence in your breakfast, stuffed with eggs and cheese with salsa and sour cream on the side (And a little insider’s tip: your waitperson can also bring you some fresh guacamole if you request it!). She also recommends one of our frittatas, made with tomatoes, basil, and mozzarella. You also can’t go wrong with an overflowing bowl of mixed fresh fruits, am I right? When you return, Lauren and the rest of our Club wait staff will be more than happy to help find the perfect breakfast fit for you and your kids!

Other recent guest reviews of this newly renovated property are accurate (and, I did some extensive TripAdvisor research before choosing to stay here). The Villas is beautiful. Their remodeled Villas are impressive, as they didn't skip any details -- from soft, pull-out leather sofas, high-end furniture and bathroom fixtures, wooden window shutters, steel kitchen appliances, Keurig coffee makers, etc. -- it really is impressive. Great location from Disney, service is impressively prompt with courteous, helpful staff. Yes, it is a bit on the pricey side for accommodations however this place is perfect haven for big parties and families. Very spacious and covers every apartment-style need you could ask for.
We stayed within the Court One section in a two bed, two-story villa (#1071) -- right in the center of the property within easy walking distance from the restaurants and Clubhouse. I will note there were a few spots that needed repair (i.e. basic wear and tear), as I think this Villa is probably occupied by guests 100% of the time due to its central location. The upstairs AC was not working, which made the top floor very cold in the mornings. The stairs had some carpet tacks almost emerging from the carpet, major dust behind the bathtubs and in the laundry closet but other than my nit picky cleaning standards, it was overall clean and well maintained. They do need to fix that top floor AC though.
Very quiet and private property, as it's truly amazing that such a haven exists there due to its central location in Orlando. We even saw a huge turtle walking across the road one morning. They even know how nice it is to stay there.
If you have kids, I would recommend going to the Hyatt Grand Cypress down the street to use their three pools (one it heated) and their fountain/jets splash area.
Housekeeping delivered everything we requested with prompt, friendly service. They even gave us a brand new portable crib with new bedding for our 7 mos. old saying "she'll be the first baby to use this crib". When you arrive, concierge drives you to your accommodations and even gives you a quick tour of your Villa. Now that's service.
We stayed for six nights the second week of April 2013, traveled with three adults and two young children. We didn't use the golf facilities but we did see folks out on the course every day we were there. I would highly recommend staying here. « less

With such an exclusive guest list, the venue had to please and the VGC exceeding all our expectations. Every single staff member went out of their way to meet our needs and we received nothing but compliments from all of our attendees. This gorgeous property has everything going for it - location, generous accomodations, luxurious appointments, first class service, amazing food - - I highly recommend it for your next visit to the Orlando area. If you are hosting an event in the Orlando area than I cant encourage you enough to add the VGC to your list of properties to consider. This place is MADE for intimate events and you will look like a rock star for finding this gem!!! « less
