We have stayed at Country Inns before , no problems with the chain. Our stay here was part of a "Kentucky Derby Experiance three night package" W did stay the night before and the night after for a total of five nights. In looking at map info, we decided to rent a car to get to restruants in the area. After staying there , there are plenty of food places around if you can walk a little. (We can't because of a physical handicap). Sevral calls to the man on the front desk guided us in from the airport. Normally about 25 minutes, a hour and a half if your lost and calling for directions. We pulled in to the motel about midnight. They were working on the front entrance and we had to park away from the main door. After checking in , the young man working the desk, took the cart away from me and took our luggage to the room . He refused a tip! All the people who work here are great and seem to like thier job. I can only remember one name right now, Robert. I need to wiegh myself every morning due a medical and medicine routine. There was no scale in the fitness room, two employee's offered to bring one in from thier home for me to use! Most of the time we were in Louisville, we were at the racetrack and very busy with the things the package deal included. Our two free days we did use the heated indooor pool. We were the only ones in there! It is a quiet, clean well run place. The hotel was booked full with the Kentucky Derby Package. Everyone left the hotel at 9:00 AM each morning. The breakfast was served from 6:00 AM to 9:00. There was enough seating both times we ate. Our only complant was the food itself. Sweet rolls were OK and there was a fresh fruit bowl every morning . My wife had trouble using the waffle/pancake machine. Negative side: The egg/cheese omletts looked good , but they were unedible. We did not try any thing else and had to dispose of the uneaten eggs. All in all my reviews come down to a question, would I stay there again? In this case a definate yes, but would eat at the near by waffle house for breakfast. « less

Our room and bed was extremely comfortable. The only complaint that I would have was the breakfast buffet food was not hot. They had a lot of options but we had to microwave our food to get it hot. « less

A day after having a bad experience with another Country Inn, this one was very good. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Our room was pretty good. The only complaint would be the outdated heating and A/C unit. They need to convert to thermostats. TV reception was good and WIFI strength was excellent. The beds were comfortable and we had a nice stay. Bathroom was clean. The breakfast was really pretty good with the exception that the fresh fruit was still frozen. Would probably stay here again if in the area. « less

We have had a very enjoyable stay here. Stayed in room 218 and were very pleased with our room. Great size. Bed was comfy. I would agree that you should bring your own pillow as some are feather and others are rock hard, but that's all personal preference. This hotel is right by the interstate so there is traffic noise but we just turned the AC fan to run all night and the white noise helped is all seep like babies. Housekeeping has been wonderful and very helpful. And Roni at the front desk is a doll, always eager to help! Will definitely stay here again. « less
