And it had great value. In our fresh/beautifully-maintained/quiet room: a small frig/micro, fluffy towels, nice toiletries, and a TV guide. This sounds like such a small thing but nothing is worse than a complicated tv and no local guide for it. No problem at this site, a thoughtful detail the hotelier covered. Onsite: indoor pool, outdoor quiet sitting area overlooking woods, coffee available in lobby all day, and a bbq grill and picnic table. It was heart-warming to see a military dad cooking hot dogs for his thrilled three children. Good vibe. Public areas are crisply modern and spotless--floors were being professionally (!) polished when we arrived. Pottery art displayed in breakfast area is an eye-pleasing touch. Having an ice machine on our 2nd floor was another convenience that was thought-through. Breakfast offerings were good and frequently replenished and the area kept spotless throughout the service. Staff (Tori) handled our large group with finesse. Applebee's next door gives a 10% discount to hotel patrons. Wish all our HIExpress experiences were as pleasant as this! I stay here several times a year, both for business and pleasure. This time, I made reservations on short notice and requested one of a few rooms I like. I arrived in town a little early and called to ask about an early check-in. Tori, the Front Desk Associate took my call and acknowledged my request, however, she told me none of the rooms I requested was available at the time. She offered to check and found one that was almost ready. She said if I could wait about 20 minutes, it would be ready. I considered myself very lucky as it would have been very easy for her to put me in any other room. Adding to it the fact that she was allowing me to check-in a little early allowed me to make it to a meeting with time to spare. I can't say enough how that made me feel. Tori is the kind of employee every HIE needs. I hope management gives her an incentive to stay. She really made me feel like a valued customer. Everything else was up to the usual HIE standards, including breakfast. Everything was kept well-stocked, even with a large number of people. The pancake machine was out of order, but didn't bother me, as I seldom eat them. I did notice that the hot tub was gone and had been tiled over. Only a mild disappoint, though, because I usually don't have time to use it. Overall, this was a great stay! I really hope, if management reads this, they will pass on my comments to Tori. « less

The hotel staff is extremely friendly and accommodating which is great when you have to be away from home. I visit the area annually for business and the hotel is a great place to stay. On my recent stay the only complaints I could mention was the cleaning staff forgot to replace my coffee pot in my room but upon request at the front desk it was promptly replace and the room was a little humid for my liking, but it is South Georgia. Overall I will continue to stay at the hotel and would recommend the hotel for traveling guest. « less

I rarely have a bad experience at Holiday Inn. Our room was large and extra clean. We were extremely comfortable. Felt safe the entire time. The breakfast was very good. I like a clean and modern feel to where ever we stay which was provide here. I love the amenities of free wi-fi. Our room had a small refrig and microwave, which was perfect for our stay. We ate out but the convenience of being able to have drinks and snacks made for a perfect evening. We chose Hinesville for its convenient location to the coast for our 3 day away from it all. We were a short drive to Tybee, and Kellers Flea market. Next day we went to St. Simmon's Island, a really lovely place to walk and relax. All in all this was great trip and stay for us. « less

We were a group and all of us found the hotel, the rooms, the dining area to be spotless, and I am extremely obsessive about this. The staff from the front desk to the housekeepers were always pleasant and beyond helpful. We will be back and we will be staying at this hotel again. « less
