Mike and Karen Crume purchased the Midland Gallery when it was a small custom frame/print shop. As long time lovers of good art, they developed a plan to expand into a “real” gallery. The first step was to make sure each piece of art that left the frame shop was framed to absolute perfection. Mike says that was achieved by bringing in Heap Taing as the shop manager. “Heap and I have the same philosophy,” Mike says, “Midland Gallery will offer the very best picture framing available…Anywhere.”
That accomplished, the gallery moved to its present location at about twice its former size and a concentrated search began for new artists. “We wanted to offer the best QUALITY, the best SELECTION, all at competitive PRICING.
