Our Ballroom is 5000 sq. ft. which can easily accommodate a sit-down, buffet or heavy hors d'oeuvre party for up to 350 people.

The hotel had a nice pool and hot tub area. The breakfast was great especially for being included with the rate. It was a full hot breakfast including eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes, etc. The only problem I had there was connecting to the wireless internet on my computer. They have about 15 networks and I was only able to connect to two of them that were weak signal so they had to move me to the 5th floor where the access point was. The manager told me that often people have trouble connecting to the internet on their laptop computers but not on their devices such as tables or iPhones. The rates are good, but you will have to drive about 10 minutes or more to most places in Myrtle Beach. « less

We were very pleased with our stay at the Clarion in Myrtle Beach. The stay was not without it's down points but we were overall pleased and would return. Pros- value, cleanliness, pool, service Cons- location, service
Front desk service was great and both our room and common areas were found in great condition. Our children enjoyed the pool area a lot.
We visited this hotel when a big event was going on and the restaurant service was very lacking. We entered the restaurant 20 min before they closed to be told we couldn't be served. It was late we were tired. This then goes to location. There is nothing nearby to pop out to for a quick meal. The area around it was once thriving but has seen better times. It's safe, but no restaurants or convenient on/off to the highway to get to reataurants.
Overall, we will stay again, just knowing to plan ahead and eat before we get there or order room service and not expect to eat in the restaurant. Our issues were mainly due to the large function. « less

My partner and I stayed here last October and had the best experience ever. I think it was Judy or Kim at the front desk. She was very helpful and friendly and helped us find the best seafood buffet we have ever found called The Giant Crab. Our room was very clean and the indoor pool and hot tub were great, just what we needed to relax and have a great time. The hotel is right on the river where you can rent boats and I think jet skis also. We didn't do that, but we really wanted to. Barbara was working in the lounge. We had a late night meal and some drinks and had a great time. She was very fun and helpful, and we only wish we had some more time to spend there. The breakfast was terrific! It was so much more than I had even expected. I even got a meal specially made to order at no extra charge when it was a buffet! We loved the balcony and the grounds outside the pool area. It was like a beautiful garden. We are coming back soon, within a few months. There are some expensive hotels nearby, but the price here is amazing and you get the same excellent quality and service for less than half the price you would spend there plus all the amazing amenities. The beach is only a couple of miles away. It is a very convenient location. I love this place and I can't wait to go back. « less
