My family and I actually had the pleasure of staying at this hotel recently at a very affordable rate. The hotel is in a good location and in the midst of the action. We were able to walk from the hotel to the restaurants and stores easily. I recommend spending the extra money if you can and go with an oceanfront room vs. ocean view as the full view was wonderful and to me it is well worth it! The outdoor oceanfront pool was heated and you can easily walk out onto the beach for a nice stroll. We were also able to watch the fireworks show that took place at the pier from the pool area which was nice. We found the hotel to family friendly and affordable and the ocean view is what really made it special for us. There might be fancier choices in Daytona however this hotel suited our needs well and we would definitely return.
