I stayed at the Omni at CNN center for almost a week and found it to be quite pleasant. It was very convenient to most everything downtown. It is right beside the Georgia World Congress Center and within walking distance of the Georgia Dome, Philips Arena, Georgia Aquarium and the Coke museum. Everything else to see downtown can be walked to or is just a short cab ride away. Hotel is very clean. Lobby bar was hopping every night. Would definitely stay there again when in the downtown area. « less

Location is great. CNN food court with fast food is part of hotel. Many good restaurants within walking distance along with aquarium ,Coke museum and Olympic park. Hotel is very large and spread out so somewhat difficult to find your way around. There are coffee shops in hotel selling Starbucks, organic yogurts, fresh fruits and pastry. You can only access room floor on the elevator with your key which is a plus for security. Rooms were clean. Beds are not at all comfortable and pillows are terrible (and I am not a picky person). Would I stay again? I would probably check out other hotels nearby to compare first. « less

This hotel is very large and unless you know where you are going, you will have a hard time knowing where to check in. I am a female traveling alone with luggage, who arrived late after dark. I had to walk around the hotel, following signs posted by the hotel, to find an entrance. When I finally got into the hotel, a man at the valet station yelled down the hallway that I had to go to the "other tower" to check in. I did not see any hotel security. A very kind outdoor custodian for the Phillips Arena helped me find the hotel from the MARTA station and pointed me in the right direction. In the morning, I ate lunch at the restaurant in the North Tower on the check in floor. The waiter was rude. I felt pushed out of the restaurant before I even finished my meal. For example, I was not asked if I would like another drink and the bill arrived as I took the first bite from my sandwich, when my drink was empty. The food was delicious. I was not asked if I would like a carry out box for the remainder of the food, and did not feel comfortable/ bothered to ask for one due to the waiter's rude and snotty attitude. I was dressed in a suit and traveling for business. When I left the hotel, I went through CNN center and there is a friendly bar/restaurant there and also a "food court" with fast food. I probably would not choose to stay here again because of the lack of customer service. There are other hotels that I usually stay at in the area. But, if you want to be near Phillips Arena and in a mall-type huge hotel, it would work. « less

Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry to hear that you had a disappointing experience at check-in and in our restaurant. Customer service is our top priority, and I assure you that we will address your concerns with the appropriate managers. We hope that you will allow us another opportunity to show you why we are downtown Atlanta's only four-diamond convention hotel.

Stayed here one night. Usually stay in Buckhead area. Chose this hotel for price, location and reputation. Clean room at a good price. This is a large hotel. But it fit my needs. I also like valet, which I used, since parking is not convenient. I think I paid $129 (not including tax and valet). I did get free internet and a beverage. I will stay here next time I need this location. « less

CNN Omni Hotel is located in two towers (north and south). The rooms in the north tower have been recently renovated. The rooms are roomy, comfortable, and very clean. The staff is southern friendly and most helpful (particularly with restaurants). The location of the hotel is within walking distance of many of the downtwon attractions. « less
