Location wise and for the price you are paying, the hotel is very good. The main shopping street of Athens is a few blocks away with a variety of bars, cafes and Restos. Breakfast is great, the yogurt is delightful! The room was clean and comfortable with good facilities but no wi-fi. Delighted with our stay in the hotel. « less

We were looking for a hotel in the Syntagma Square Plaka in Athens because we could see on the map that we would be able to walk to most of the major tourist attractions. We were not wrong. It was no more than a 5-10 minute walk to the Parliament to see the changing of the guard and within about an hour (with lots of stops on the way), we were at the Acropolis. The hotel was delightful. We almost missed it because it is set back from the street, through a short arcade. On the right of the arcade is an entrance to an underground parking garage and on the left, a store that sells fine gifts. The staff of the hotel was very helpful and although the hotel is small, it provided for all our needs. Our room was very comfortable and very clean. There was some noise at night from the bars in the neighborhood, but we call that "local color." Wi-fi/internet is free in the lobby. Breakfast was more than adequate and nicely served. We never felt the need to each lunch until late in the afternoon. There are wonderful little boutique shops on all the side streets around the hotel that sell items you don't see in tourist stores. The hotel was a great find. « less

We had a very nice stay of 4 nights in this hotel. Perfect location. Very friendly staff and good service. Try to book a room at the back, because at the front there is quite some noice caused by bars in the neighbourhood, especially during the weekend. Breakfast buffet is very good. Large room, even for a family of 4. The shower is rather small, and they should not have put the toilet inside the bathroom. Good hotel if you need some exercise, as the elevator is so tiny you always take the stairs. « less

Just been back from a short break in this hotel, A typical european hotel situated in the heart of the Syntagma District of Athens, very well kept with a highly trained staff. Rooms are impeccably clean and good sized. The staff are very, very helpful and that makes it a very good one. Breakfast is very good and has a wide choice of things. A little drawback with this hotel is that those rooms especially those on the street are very noisy because of the irresponsability of a pub in front of .... Up until 4am with head-banging music..... But having lodged a complaint with the receptionist he changed our room to a one backward...... The rest is explained above.... Highly recommandable! « less
