I booked this hotel for my senior citizen parents who were visiting for a family function. I drive by this hotel regularly and had no idea that it was so nicely and cleanly done inside. The lobby is clean and welcoming. The staff was so friendly and patient with my parents. Their room, which was the king bed handicapped accessible, was very much to their liking. It was spacious and easy to move around in. The bathroom was great for them with lots of room and safety features. The bed was comfortable and the room clean and quiet. They enjoyed the breakfast both mornings. There was a safe and plentiful parking area. Definitely recommended. The only wish we had was that to get back on to Sunrise Highway westbound it was tough to turn left on the side street to get to the light. It would be nice to get a stop sign or light on that side entrance to get people to allow you to turn left and get to the light. Overall bravo. « less

The first time I stayed at a Holiday Inn Express I was skeptical. I expected it to be a lesser version of the Holiday Inns of old. WRONG! We were greeted warmly by a nicely-dressed and well- spoken attendant. The hotel was clean and tastefully decorated. While it doesn't have a lot of frills, it has more than I needed or expected; refrigerator, microwave & coffee in the room. Included in the price is a substantial continental breakfast. The price was more than I expected but relative to the other alternatives in the area, it was reasonable and competitive. We were on the road and needed a place to spend the night. When we knew where we would end up I specifically looked for a Holiday Inn Express and booked it from the road. For this kind of trip it will be my go to motel. « less

We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Lynbrook NY for 11 nights following Super Storm Sandy. (Actually less than half a mile from Rockville Centre NY) Everyone was so helpful and understanding. This facility is well maintained and very well run. Service from the front desk to the maid service and everything else in between was outstanding. The entire Hotel is very clean and all facilities were maintained in top notch condition. Free Internet, as well as free breakfast are just a few of the extras. I recommend this Hotel for those staying one or two nights or for an extended stay like ours. Reasonably priced to boot!!!!! « less

So, we arrived from Florida for our High School Reunion, Classes 1975, 1975 & 1977, and there was a friendly face to greet us; Louis. Yes, Louis was running the show that day (today) and he put on a great show. Friendly, patient, great smile, a welcoming attitude and attitude....did I say patient. Yes, patient is the most important, as he was dealing with 4 former New Yorkers, and Jewish from Boca & Coral Springs, to boot. Thank you Louis for the extra blanket, pillows and towels at 11:00 at night.
The room (we took a wheel chair accessible room for the extra space) is clean & spacious. The four of us are fitting very nicely in here together. The hotel is clean....immaculate, as a matter of fact. And, did I say that Louis is patient?!? Anywho, we are happy campers. Thank you Louis. « less

From the outside, I was not expecting much, but I was surprised. The staff was friendly, the room was spotless and quite comfortable. The slight downsides? This is an older building, with LONG corridors, which can make for a long walk to your room. Also, the TV was very old, and the picture fuzzy. I would stay here again. « less
