I stayed here for one night to attend some festivities in Atlantic City. This was a great choice and I would definitely stay here again. I traveled with 3 family members and was pleasantly surprised to learn we had been upgraded to a 2 bedroom suite, which worked out perfectly for us. I had originally reserved a 1 bedroom suite.
The 2 bedroom suite had 2 full bathrooms, 2 king size beds, a full kitchen with utensils/cookware and full sized refrigerator, a dinette area with 4 chairs, as well as a sofa bed and nice sized flat screen tvs in each of the 2 bedrooms as well as in the living room area. This room could easily sleep 6 comfortably especially with having the sofa bed in the living room area. Although free breakfast was offered, we decided to bring our own groceries and make breakfast the next morning ourselves in our suite, which worked out great and having a dishwasher was nice!
The room was clean and orderly and the staff I encountered during check-in and check-out were very pleasant to deal with and seemed appreciative of my business. And the gentleman I encountered overnight to get a replacement remote when the batteries died in one we had was very responsive and happy to help even though he was in the middle of other duties. Also, there was no issue with my request for a late check-out at 1PM instead of noon.
I love that this hotel is within 15 minutes of the sights and sounds of Atlantic City when you are in the mood for that, but far enough away to have some quiet time when have had enough of the Atlantic City party scene and are in the mood to mellow out instead.
Marriott has been my hotel chain of choice for years and this most recent experience is part of the reason why. When in the area again I will see if rooms are available at this hotel and would recommend. « less

This was my first time at this Residence Inn. Overall pretty typical, but nice overall. Hotel is newer ( I believe last year or so). Nice size pool and typical work out area. Breakfast area was a little tight, but food was fine, but again typical. Staff was friendly. Front desk staff seemed a bit short. They answer phones and tend to customers. On check-in our front desk person must have been on the telephone for over 5 minutes but never acknowledged us.
Can hear hall noise very easily so the doors are not very sound proof.
Hotel was very busy with what seemed to be many FEMA workers.
Think they still have some growing pains as they as newer « less

When it comes to doing business at or near the Atlantic City Airport there is likely no better stay than the Residence Inn Egg Harbor City on Fire Road. This is because the ease of getting to and from the Atlantic City Airport facility. Just minutes away it serves as a good base of operations for a business trip.
This means though that because it is a Residence Inn there are: 1) Meals several nights a week (fair quality, but free) 2) Breakfast served every day (again free) 3) Meeting spaces 4) Free Internet 5) All the other perks of a Residence Inn
The down side is that it is: 1) near Atlantic City casinos, which means you get people who have visited and may not be completely free of alcoholic content in there blood. 2) A pet friendly hotel, to you never know if there will be yappy dogs at 11:00 at night (such as my last visit) 3) Some rooms designated as pet rooms have pet smells. (overall this is a very minor problem, which could happen at any pet friendly hotel) 4) The location is not good if you are a person who likes to jog, as there are not any trails near the hotel, and the area does not feel like the safest part of town for such an activity.
Despite the down side, I stay at this hotel every time I am in the Atlantic City area on business, it is overall very clean, and reasonably close to the Atlantic City Airport. « less
