Good situation for calm stay as it is not so far from Kingwood town. Sometimes you can hear the train but it is rare. I was there during OTC conference and it was quite ok to go there, something about 30 minutes if there is no traffic jam. There are several good restaurants in the area, more over the bus shuttle can drive you at any time you wish. The rooms are spacious and very calm. There is only two weaknesses I noted: the air-conditioning in room were rather noisy and I would suggest to renovate a little bit gym equipment. « less

We travelled to the Houston area to lay my father to rest - a rough trip. When we made a simple inquiry with the front desk staff about the availability of a meeting room for a small family & friends reception following the funeral, they went above & beyond to make that time bearable - if not actually pleasant. We will be forever grateful for the sensitivity, hospitality and generosity shown us at such a heartbreaking time in our lives. Thank you just doesn't express the depth of gratitude. We will recommend this location to everyone we know travelling in this area. « less

This Homewood Suites is an asset to Hilton -- professional, very clean through out, safe, bedrooms very well maintained. Hats off to all the Staff. Breakfast was really well prepared and presented -- it was not the usual hotel 'whatever breakfast'. The bed was awesome. This hotel is set back from the Highway, allow it to be very quiet. The sitting area is well laid out for informal business meetings. The evening's Manager's relaxation event was a most appreciated personal touch. This hotel is a definite for future stays for myself and for my business colleagues. « less

We were in town for a wedding...and this place was great!! Clean, comfortable and great breakfast!! Everything we encountered during our stay was great. We used the business center and the pool area and we all had a great time...there were about 30 of us. The suites were great - because we always had enough room for people coming and going. What a deal!! « less

Prior to an Easter cruise out of Galveston I booked two King size suites for our family ( 2 nights for my husband and I & 1 night for my daughter, husband and 2 children). I was a concerned after reading some of the reviews but decided to take a chance as we are members of Hilton chain and have had no problems with any of their properties. We arrived at Houston Airport early then scheduled and phoned Homewood Suites Kingwood who immediately sent their shuttle. The Shuttle driver was very friendly and greeted us with "you're in time for our supper". Upon checking in the staff was very accommodating and arranged both rooms on the 2nd floor next to each other even though my family wasn't arriving till the next day. We had a lovely complimentery hot fish supper and wine. Our room was spotless ( I am super fussy) the bed was very comfortable and the room was very quiet - we had a wonderful nights sleep and the breakfast the next morning was very nice - fresh fruit salad, eggs, bacon, etc. As we had time while awaiting our family we asked about the nearest shopping and were immediately informed that the shuttle driver would take us to the mall and pick us up when we were ready to come back. The driver was very accommodating and very pleasant - took us to the mall and picked us up 2 hours later exactly on time. Our family arrived and their room was identical to ours - extremely clean, comfortable and quiet. We had a great time. Ordered in great pizza that was recommended by the staff for supper - went for a swim - played a little basketball and off to bed. Good night sleep had by all, Relaxing breakfast next morning and then off to our ship. We were on the 2nd floor front facing rooms did not smell any smoke on our floor or in the lobby throughout our stay - my husband and grandkids have asthma and had no problems with the air quality in the hotel. I have never written a review on a hotel prior to this but felt I had to highly recommend this hotel « less
