Our studio suites are carefully designed to allow our guests to live comfortably while away from home. Our suites feature fully equipped kitchens, large work stations, over stuffed recliners and DVD/VHS players. We also offer one bedroom suites with these features, plus a separate sleeping bedroom with a queen size bed. The living area in our one bedroom suites also feature a pull out couch with queen size bed. Plus, our signature amenities that we identify as being "uniquely Candlewood" are the Cupboard, a mini convenience store on premises, complimentary: Movie Lending Library, BBQ Gazebo open to all guests (utensils at the Front Desk), fitness center on and off premises and more. We also offer free laundry service. Our airport shuttle to O'Hare runs 24 hours and is available on demand.

When I was that I would be spending the night at the candlewood suites by ohare, I thought the worst.
Well I m happy to say that I was happily surprise once I've enters the room. It was spacious, nice bed, large desk and it has a kitchenette with full size fridge and dishwasher!!!
The tv swivel comfortable for me to watch tv either in bed or the leather lounge chair.
The nice touch of the hotel was that they left a bag of popcorn inside the microwave. That was so nice and unexpected. Thank you!!!
The location of the hotel is not the most decidable but the shuttle can take to some other places nearby. Also the shuttle is not "owned" by the hotel so you might have to wait either to be picked up or dropped off. However the desk says that it is in demand.

First off,
This hotel is one of my favorites (I will write another review on my other favorite hotel). The hotel shuttle runs at least every 15-20 minutes or so (from the airport). At the hotel, the staff will page the shuttle for you. From the moment I walk in, I have always been greeted warmly and always with a smile. The staff there always have made me feel like I'm home. A few times I had called to see if I could check in early and they had always made sure there was a room available for me.
They have everything you can ask for--a microwave oven (with a free packet of popcorn!), A nice LCD TV, a refrigerator with an automatic ice maker, all the comforts of home. The wi-fi in the rooms is GREAT! The business center comes in very handy and doing the laundry is FREE! What's great about this hotel is while providing the comforts of home, they make sure safety is paramount.
A lot of restaurants do deliver at this hotel, however I usually go to the grocery store and buy my own food. It's nice to have options.
I can't put exactly in words how I feel about this hotel--in my opinion it's worth more than 5 stars--you just have to stay there one night to know what I'm talking about.
There is no pool, not a big deal.
To sum all this up--let's just say this hotel and another one will always get my business and word of mouth always gets far =)
