When I first walked in this hotel, I was impressed. It appeared to be clean, staff was friendly. And the amenities were clearly marked and easy to find. The room itself was nice with decor. My only complaint is the hair that was in the shower on the walls and the shower floor. Also several hairs on the bed. Those kinds of things freak me out a bit. But other than that, we were quite pleased at our stay. The breakfast that they offer has many things to choose from, that is a plus as well. It is very close to the coliseum and Hampton Convention Center. « less

The hotel is clean and nice like all the hotels operated by Landmark.My only problem is I stay there every week with my crew (5 rooms) and I had some tools stolen out of my truck.I do not blame the hotel because it was my fault for not locking it up but there are some shady hotels down the street from this one.Park towards the front in the light. « less

We paid a great low rate for the room but it was the staff that made our stay. They were genuinely friendly and very conscientious of the guests. One particular staff entered the elevator with me. He asked me my floor and pushed the button for the 4th floor. Once we passed the 2nd floor he pushed the button for the 2nd. He was thoughtful enough to let the elevator go to my floor before his own. Very personable people. Great stay. « less

The rooms were quiet and clean. The beds were comfortable. At the price I paid, that is the main thing I ask for in a hotel. As mentioned by others, the elevators were kind of scary. The breakfast was so bad, we opted to eat elsewhere on the second day. The inside pool was good for kids to splash around in, but little else. The exercise room was nice. The common areas were overrun with kids and teens in pjs. It is a great location for coliseum or convention center events. While the staff was friendly, they couldn't give a good answer to the question "are there interesting or unique things we should visit in the area?" « less

This hotel proved to be a little gem. The staff and rooms were great but agree with a previous comment regarding the lifts. They are old and the doors close quickly. The AC was of the older type and therefore very noisy indeed. Had to shut it off during the night and so the room became too warm. Good pool and facilities. Breakfast excellent, clean area and constantly restocked. Great one nighter. « less
