We stayed at this comfort in whilst passing through.
The hotel was a very comfortable stay and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The size of room was maybe a bit on the small size (for the US!) but it was a downtown location so not much to complain about.
Breakfast in the morning was the best that we'd had from a comfort inn. « less

My husband and I stayed the weekend of 5/18, for a getaway. I liked the fact that the hotel is walking distance to Progressive Field (go Tribe) and although it was farther, we walked to the Rock and Roll HoF without a problem.
Our room was clean, I did a pretty thorough inspection upon arrival. We were on the fifth floor. All of the staff were friendly and welcoming-the front desk, the security guard and especially the breakfast crew. Breakfast was great-homemade waffles, scrambled and boiled eggs, sausage, cereal, juices, coffee, teas, fresh fruit, danishes, donuts, and the list goes on...I can't say enough about how nice everyone was-the owner (I think it was the owner) was on hand Friday and Saturday, talking to guests, addressing any issues anyone had and being very warm and welcoming.
We would definitely stay here again, this time we're bringing the kids to a game! « less

After being stranded and unable to get our vehicle until moring, the front desk girl, Donna, gave us a room that somebody had checked out early from. She personally cleaned it herself and was very understanding of our unfortunate circumstance. Brian, the security gaurd, made sure we had the personal necessities we needed. Together, Donna and Brian saved two girls from out of town from having to spend the night out on the street! Our thanks to you both! « less

we stayed there May 4-5 for a family wedding, It is a city hotel, close to the playhouses and university and had a college 'vibe' to the area.We arrived at 7:30 and then went out to find dinner, which was close by. The front desk was very efficient in checking us in and out and helpful in directing me for my various errands in the morning. when we got to the room it felt very tired and worn, but every thing in the room worked. The linens and the floor were clean. The bed was Very Comfortable. The breakfast was simple with plenty to choose from-eggs-scrambled and hard boiled, yogurt cups, fresh fruit, make it yourself waffles, dry cereal in sealed cups, juice-apple and orange, hot coffee, tea, water. There was a bus stop within a block of the hotel, but I did not get a chance to try it out. They charged extra for parking, which I thought was strange, but then realized that it was a separate facility. There are very few places to park in the city where you do not have to pay, either by meter or lot. There is room for improvement, but I did not go in expecting a 5 star hotel. It was a good choice for my needs. « less

I arrived in Cleveland on the Amtrak that had been delayed by over 3 hours - as I had boarded in Poughkeepsie at 5:08 in the late afternoon I was pretty tired. Just grabbed a cab at the station and was a bit concerned when the reception said they had checked me out as a 'no show' even though my reservation said I would be arriving in the early hours of the morning. I thought 6:30 a.m. was a bit quick to check me out! But it was not a problem and Donna immediately checked me back in, got me in a double rather then a queen which was fine by me especially seeing it was cheaper.
The room is fine and the service very good. The breakfast is the standard fare that Comfort seem to do and fine by me. There was a drink machine and ice machine on my floor (3rd) and the only comment would be that the bathroom is a little small.
Overall the décor is fine although perhaps due for a makeover in the hall ways but still OK.
The only negative thing which I feel should be addressed is that I had to send a fax and the reception clerk did not know what code to type in to be able to dial international - now I feel that would be the sort of information that should be readily available for staff even if they did not know it. I had to return to my room to google it and then come back to reception and inform her of it so she could send my fax. « less
