Recently attended a conference held in the hotel and stayed 5 nights. The conference facilities and the food were absolutely outstanding. Love that the focus in on healthy foods and they were available in abundance. Even the breakfast buffet in Cypress was outstanding, although a bit expensive $20 or $16 for the "cold" breakfast. Had early dinner one night and the appetizers were half price - so two appetizers a meal makes. They were outstanding! The lobby is a bit "cold" and not a place you want to stay in long as one entrance goes out to the car/taxi dropoff and the other to a side street. There doesn't seem to be a "grand entrance" in keeping with the stature of the hotel. The lobby was very minimialist and not a great place to gather. In the afternoon a beverage was available - almost a herbal tea with fruit/etc. It was outstanding. The room was lovely although too warm. Couldn't get the temperature cold enough. Drawback was the scent in the lobby and the overly-scented bath products. Asked for a scent-free soap and one was immediately delivered, although I didn't have the heart to tell them it was worse that the leaf-shaped soap they provide. Bed was outstanding, room was clean and very spacious. And it was the basic room. Loved the fact that there were two chairs plus a desk chair. Lighting very good and liked the dimmer switch on the lamps. Internet service outstanding. Location was perfect - right in the heart of the downtown and a short walk to office buildings and the local parks. Everything was clean - common areas and conference facilities. Liked that you could walk through an upper level door into the shopping venue that connected to two other shopping venues. In rain/cold one would never need to walk outside. « less

Stay in Bellevue often, usually at the Hyatt but first time at the Westin. Very pleasant check in and nice corner room(quiet) as requested. The room is spacious and immaculate. Loved the shower with the two heads. The comfortable bed made for a good sleep. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. Fitness facility had a good variety of workout machines and in good condition. Didn't like the lobby which looked sparse and uninviting. Would definitely stay here again. « less

A weekend stay with a group of college girlfriends, we booked two rooms. Pros: Parking was complimentary for the weekend, we were given adjoining rooms, and the hotel staff sent us champagne and chocolate covered strawberries, wishing us a wonderful weekend together. The rooms were very nice (loved the leaf-shaped soap), fairly quiet and the beds were comfortable. We all used the workout facilities. There were four ellipticals and a number of other machines; the equipment was nice, and the workout equipment overlooked the pool (through a window). Note to parents: if your kids who are old enough to be in the pool with less supervision, you could keep an eye on them in the pool while you work out. The hotel is very close to Bellevue Square (you can get there via a bridge without going outside), and walking distance to lots of great restaurants. A few (minor) negatives: Although stylish, the lobby is not really warm and inviting. There are doors to the city streets and doors to the parking garage and it has very high ceilings, so while it's impressive, you wouldn't sit in the lobby and have a nice cup of coffee (because there isn't any, unless you step into the adjacent restaurant). There are coffee makers in the rooms, but only single serve type, so ask the front desk for more if you have more than two people in the room. And our room had an odd whining sound that I think related to showers running--it seemed to come and go, but it was not a big deal--I am a light sleeper and no one else commented on it. No breakfast provided, but there is a small restaurant (?) adjacent to the lobby that had a Sunday buffet while we were there--we didn't try it, but it was $20 and the food looked good. Espresso was available as well. Oh! One other great thing for people who work out: the hotel will "rent" you the use of work out pants, tops and shoes, so you don't have to pack them. It's $5, and although we didn't try it, we talked to others who were very pleased with the option. « less

Sounds like your girls weekend was a fun filled time taking advantage of all the wonderful amenities of our hotel and the Bellevue Collection. We’re pleased your room was comfortable for you and you enjoyed the white tea aloe Heavenly Bath amenities, our state of the art Westin WorkOut Facility furnished with top of the line equipment by Precor Fitness and also our heated 25 meter indoor lap pool. Thank you for mentioning our Gear Lending program we provide for our visitors. It’s a great option for guests desiring to maintain their fitness routine while traveling.
Our associates take pleasure in creating a memorable experience for our guests. It was our concierge’s pleasure to extend a complimentary amenity of champagne and chocolate covered strawberries for you and your friends to enjoy.
We appreciate your comments regarding the stately decor of our hotel and we’ll mention your suggestion to provide additional coffee in the guest rooms with our operations team. We apologize if the sound of the exhaust fan in your guest room disturbed you. Perhaps on your next visit you will have time to enjoy a delectable breakfast buffet in Cypress Lounge & Wine Bar. It’s a favorite of our frequent guests and locals alike.
Thank you again for sharing your weekend experience with us. We’ll look forward to welcoming you back for another girl’s weekend.
