We enjoyed our two nights at Courtyard Blue Ash and were very pleased with the rooms and with the service. The lobby was very comfortable and inviting and the staff, especially the maintenance people, were extremely nice. My only complaint was the very loud leaf blowing and hedge trimming outside of the rooms at 9:00 am. « less

I've stayed at plenty of Courtyard properties. They are in the process of doing renovations at many of the older properties and this hotel is no different. I had arrived late (midnight) and was looking forward to just going to bed. However, the room I was given was in the renovation wing. So the first thing I noticed was the strong chemical smell in the hall. Luckily the room didn't smell too bad.
However, the morning started off early as the construction crew started work at the crack of dawn. I assumed I was the only one in this grouping of rooms as they were surprised to see me pop my head out. Once they started working the smell of paint thinner was pretty darn oppressive.
Once the renovations are complete I'm sure the property will be better. But this was not my best Courtyard experience. « less

Thank you for choosing to stay with during your stay, and taking time to let us know about your experience, I am sorry that it was during our renovation, and Marriott standards were not completely met. I am happy to inform you that all our guest rooms and our public areas have now all officially been renovated, and our guests can now enjoy a refreshing stay at the hotel. Our associates are also excited to welcome our guests. We hope to see you on your next visit to Cincinnati, and let share your opinion of the renovation.
Thank you.

Nice staff, seating area decent....but when I went to my room, someone was already in it. Not a comforting thing when you are traveling alone for business. Plus, when I hiked (and it was a hike) back up to the front desk, the staff was freaked out more than I was and went on about they didn't know what was going on, things were strange, doors were open for no reason they knew of and they hoped I wasn't afraid to stay there. Well...I hadn't been but then I was. Walls and doors paper thin....heard all the conversations in the hallway like they were standing in my room. « less

Thank you for taking time to share your hotel experience from this past weekend. I and my front desk associates will be working more closely with our renovation team to ensure more clear communication with the selling of our guest rooms; I apologize for the confusion that interrupted your stay. Regarding the noise in rooms, I will be seeking out options on how me be able to improve this for our guests. Thank you again for taking time to post your comment; hope we may be able to serve you better upon your next visit to Cincinnati.

My family stayed at this hotel for two nights for my son's soccer tournament. There were many soccer teams of high school aged boys staying at the hotel. The staff treated everyone with respect and courtesy and had saintlike patience for the number of free apples and bananas eaten by the teams in the common area. The boys all responded by behaving themselves and respecting the other hotel visitors. The food was average for the free breakfast, but the rooms were amazingly quiet. Everyone from the housekeepers to the front desk staff went out of their ways to say hello and smile. This was certainly a pleasant surprise...especially since we were part of a visiting sports team. Thank you! « less

We are very fortunate to have so many nice associates, and they are willing to go above and beyond for all our guests. We greatly appreciate our sports teams. We hope to host your team again upon there next visit to the Cincinnati area; we will also review our breakfast we are providing our sports teams.
