After a redesign period in 2007, the 48 guest rooms, 25 suites and hotel corridors of Mandarin Oriental, Munich now shine in new splendor. In the 48 guest rooms, the dominating tones are cream, gold and brown, radiating a sense of exclusive comfort. The highlights are the Mandarin Suite and the Oriental Suite, both suites the dominating wood is Santos rosewood, of which desks, couch tables, cupboards, wall paneling and doors are made.
State-of-the-art technology provides maximum comfort. The guest rooms are fitted with centrally-controlled lighting that can be regulated from the entrance or the bed, high speed internet/wireless LAN connectivity, an individually-controlled air conditioning system, Bang & Olufsen flatscreen television sets (32 + 50 inch) with over 400 channels and integrated DVD player, CD players and radios, notebook connection to the television sets. State-of-the-art technology has also found its way into the marble bathrooms with flatscreens and modern sprinkler systems.

From & To the Airport
The main airport serving Munich is approximately 45 minutes away by road. There are a number of options for guests wanting to travel to and from the airport.
By Taxi
A taxi can be organised for journeys to and from the airport, the trip taking approximately 45 minutes. The cost is around EUR 60 one-way.
By Shuttle Bus
The Lufthansa Bus leaves from the main station and will whisk guests to the airport for a cost of EUR 10.50 per person. Journey time is approximately 60 minutes each way.
By Our Limousine
The hotel provides a luxury limousine service for guests to and from the airport, which takes about 45 minutes each way. The fee for our limousine service is EUR 160 one way and EUR 320 round trip.
We will also be happy to take you by our limousine service to the main station or departure terminal/airport in your home town. The fee is EUR 145 and is available in the following German cities: Berlin, Hamburg, Hannover, Düsseldorf, Cologne, Stuttgart, Heidel
