This is the only place to stay in Logansport and that is why we are here every year. But this last visit had an occurrence that was very disturbing. Three adults came into the breakfast room for breakfast in sleep wear and bare feet - not what you want to see during breakfast. We asked the attendant and she said there was no rule that she was aware of, same with the weekend manager who promised to talk to the resident manager. This event spoiled what was a very satisfactory stay as it was a clean, comfortable room. We hope the management will consider posting a sign "Proper dress and shoes required for breakfast service." « less

We came into town for a funeral and many of my family members stayed here. Our rooms were clean, spacious and met our needs. The breakfast was plentiful and more than adequate. The only issue may be the heating/air conditioning, which we found to be hard to control and loud. Though it was very chilly outside, we had to run the A/C to keep the room comfortable. The king suite my parents had was extremely large - we even hosted a small family get-together in their living room. « less

Recent business travel took me to Logansport and this was the logical choice for me to stay. The hotel appeared new or recently updated with typical accomodations and appearance of the brand. Staff was very friendly and helpful - thanks to Rob for the warm welcome and providing the snow scraper when a 6 inch snow storm hit town. The room was absolutely clean and the right temperature. Breakfast was good, but for the regular business traveler, a more robust variety would be nice. The only negative with my stay was that the internet service was dreadfully slow...to the point that I couldn't do any work in the hotel. I did notice that my cell phone service was also very weak, so it may have had something to do with the overall service in the town, although not that remote of an area. Other than that, no complaints. « less

We stayed at this hotel in Logansport over the holidays. We rented a suite with an electric fireplace, and the ambience of having that it in the room was wonderful. The room was VERY nice and clean. With the small refrigerator we were able to put our leftovers in it from eating out that evening. The pool is small but was clean, had very warm water to swim, and was the highlight of the stay for the kids. The two 8 year-olds had their own couch bed and tv, and we had a king bed and tv to relax separately at bedtime. The staff were all friendly and helpful, and the free breakfast was a plus when taking kids along. This is a nice hotel for business travel or for a quick get-away, as was the case for us. There are some restaurant chains nearby - Applebees, Buffalo Wild Wings, Subway, and other "fast food". There are some downtown local restaurants that are very good - "Amelios and Ikes" is a restaurant and bar that was established in 1871. There is a nice waterfront area near downtown to stroll. (Logansport is "the city where two rivers meet"). Logansport has a historical museum, an antique clothing museum - "Cole Clothing Museum", and really nice walking trails that are paved. For kids there is The Dentzel Carousel near downtown. This is a very fun carousel for kids to "catch the gold ring" as you pass, in order to get a free ride. It is open Memorial Day for the season. « less
