My husband and I needed an inexpensive place to stay for a trip to visit family in Roanoke. This hotel was close to the house and within budget. Our stay, overall, was fine, but I probably will not be staying at this place again.
The hotel is very drab and run down. It needs some major updating. All of the rooms are accessible from the parking lot; there is no interior hallway or security entrance to maintain a ssemblance of privacy or safety. That wouldn't be so bad except for the fact that the hotel is in a sketchy location - next to a goodwill and a major intersection and shooping area. Sure, it's Roankoe, not Southeast DC, but I still would like to feel safe when I sleep at night.
