Room was ok. Had problems with the key in the door, replaced it and still had to angle it just right to get in. Very disappointed with the whirlpool. Was not working properly and kids were in it all the time along with the sauna. Breakfast was good, but was strange that there was no meat to go only with the eggs. An A on the staff, they were very helpful and friendly. « less

Having said that...........the staff is very nice and polite. A computer is in the lobby for guest use. The room had a small refrigerator, but no microwave. The room exhibited its age but was comfortable and seemed to be clean. The bed could have been a little more firm, to my liking, but it did the job!
They do have a warm breakfast that was a cut above many hotel continental breakfasts. « less

Our room, it was good. I have stayed in some hotels where there is limited room to pass by the bed, this was not the case here. The room was a good size. I'm sure if you needed a cot in there, there would be options as to where to place it.
The tv was an older tube picture but really, it worked and I wouldn't buy new if my old one worked either.
My room overlooked the courtyard. It was just losing the snow so nothing was really all that green in there. I noticed a bbq?! I wonder what the word is on that? I didn't ask, my time at the hotel was short.
The teens went swimming. It sounds like they had a great time in the pool! Plus there is a hot tub and as they were there quite a while..the combination of the pool & hottub must have been a hit (that's what I gather).
The only thing I would check into is - my room had the old knob style heating system. It is a little harder to regulate as the room got warm through the night with the three of us sleeping in there. I do like the digital regulators - it will shut off at a certain temperature.
Best thing I can say is that the bed was very comfortable. That was the highlight. The place is old and in need of an overhaul/update. Not going to stay...

The room was dirty especially the bathroom - most entertaining was when we moved the hassock (it had rollers) there were tons of Cheetos and Ritz crackers so I doubt the cleaning person worked too hard. The bed was hard enough to use it for a bowling alley. We tried to turn the temperature down to medium well and 6 hours later it finally was a mere 75 degrees. The floor of the bathtub was gross - so bad the 9 year old wore her flip flops into the shower. I should learn and truly believe the reviews - I BELIEVE!
Good restuarant connected to hotel; the booths were softer than the mattress. We were using this as a jumping off point to the airport - it fits that role and nothing more. The pool is nice for kids. « less
