I was looking for a hotel in NYC that was not too expensive but received consistently good reviews on Tripadvisor and was well situated. The Wyndham Garden Hotel, Chelsea West fit the bill. I was so impressed with the incredible customer service which was not mentioned nearly enough in the reviews. The staff was absolutely interested in my satisfaction with the hotel and very helpful. The room was a good size for NY, clean and very comfortable. AND, the hotel is in a great location! What more can I say?? « less

The bar attached to the hotel is great for a dinner or a night cap. It's a little pricey for breakfast but still nice.
The location is great! Everything is walking distance (if you're willing to talk) and shopping is right around the corner. « less
