My daughter, grandson, and I went to visit the Caldwell Zoo and other kid-friendly sites in Tyler. We also visited the waterpark. When we stay at a motel it is just for sleeping. We like to stay busy and visit all of the local attractions. This motel was adequate for our visit. « less

I probably wouldn't stay here unless nothing else better around is available. Room doors face the exterior of the building which makes me feel a lot less safe. My room had some wall damage, torn furniture, & a shower head that wouldn't stay still. I could hear the neighbors normal volume conversations. The closet door & bathroom door open onto each other. The fitness room is lacking. Low quality machines, no sanitizing spray, & no floor mats. Positives-micro & good size small fridge, free wireless or wired internet, free breakfast, « less

Stayed here for my Aunt's Memorial Service last weekend. Very comfortable rooms. Beds nicely done. Hampton has refrigerators and microwaves in the rooms. Nicely set up mirror on the door to do hair. Shower was great. Breakfast in the morning tasty and well stocked. Lots of choices, eggs, sausages, waffles, fruit, cereal, juice and coffee. Duvets pulled off after each stay and washed...nice touch. Very acommodating staff. Only potential drawback I could see is that the rooms open to the outside rather than a hallway. No probalem for us though. There is an elevator. Parking was fine. All in all a pretty good deal for the money. « less
