We checked in on a Friday night but it wasn't crowded at all and the rooms were clean and comfortable. They had a hot breakfast including egg and sausage and waffles.
The value was generally good for the area. We paid $70.55 including taxes and Choice Hotel membership bonus, which is the same as the AAA rate.
The area is right of the interstate which is convenient, but the trade-off is that it's in the middle of sprawlville, so not much there in terms of character. Luckily it set far enough back you won't hear any noise from Highway 8 or the interstate.
Overall, a pretty good value. Would probably stay there again. « less

We have stayed here before and weren't completely happy (we booked through a travel website and our reservation wasn't correct). We decided to try again and this time we booked with the hotel directly and had no problems. The rooms are spacious and allow plenty of room for kids to play. The hotel is in a good location with plenty of places to eat and the interstate nearby. The breakfast is a typical continental breakfast (I would recommend a few more cereal choices) otherwise it was good.
The only issues we had...the first 5 channels or so on the TV were very fuzzy, and we couldn't get them to straighten out. The other issue is that the fitted sheet on one of the beds had a tear. Overall, if we return to the area we would stay again. « less

We stayed at this property because our electricity was out in our hometown of Fort Wayne with 90 degree temperatures and 3 children under the age of 6 we needed a more pleasant setting. My husband works in the Auburn area so we decided to stay closer to his work plus the Auburn area had electricity! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean, comfortable, and large with many amenities. Excellent assortment of hot and cold breakfast foods. The pool was very nice and my kids had a great time enjoying it.
