When given a chance to stay at a Hyatt Place hotel I always jump at it. The Hyatt Place Northwest hotel did not disappoint. The rooms are modern and clean. The flatscreen tv is the largest of any chain of hotels I've stayed in. (I does seem to put out a lot of heat though!)
The only complaint I had is the wall air conditioner is too close to the bed. I had a room with 2 beds so I was able to avoid that, but that also happened to me at another Hyatt Place hotel I stayed at near Jackson, MS. I'm not sure why they configure the room that way.
This was my first trip to OKC and the hotel location is excellent. OKC is a small city and you can drive to downtown in about 10 minutes. Just across the highway from the hotel is a mall surrounded by a lot of restaurants. My co-worker and I at at the Cheesecake Factory, Smashburger and Pei Wei while we were there and all were good. (Everything tastes better when the company is paying for the bill!)
I didn't eat the free breakfast in the morning so I can't comment on that. The staff was friendly and we were checked into our room very fast. All in all, thumbs up to Hyatt Place hotels. You have a good thing going. This is the 4th I've stayed in and I've enjoyed them all. A great place to stay when you can do so. « less

From easy checkin to a wonderfully clean room, the best sleep I have had in a long time, and a nice breakfast, it was splendid. The staff was so friendly and responsive after I had trouble with the shower head, replacing it within 15 minutes of contact. The location could not be better, just 5 minutes from mall, Walmart, food, everything. The location is somewhat tricky but just follow the GPS and its all good. I have a new Go-To place in OKC and would highly highly recommend!! « less

I was pretty disappointed with the Hyatt Place Oklahoma City. Especially after staying at the Hyatt in Tulsa, which was an excellent hotel.
The room that I was given had a few problems which I probably should have reported to the manager, but I was very tired when I got in. The room had a huge wet spot on the side of the bed, which soaked the carpeting. It ran for about 5 feet. Thought there might be a leak in the roof but there was not. Only realized the problem when I was walking around with my socks off.
Also, the heater/air conditioner in the room was very noisy, and when I turned on the heat, the unit released a pretty awful smell for the first 10 minutes. So I shut the unit off altogether.
The shower and the sink were both clogged when I tried to use both of them, and the shower head was having problems too.
The staff though was very nice, although I didn't bring up the room problems as I was only there for one night, and just camp for a quick sleep before hitting the road again for business.
I would highly recommend the Hyatt in Tulsa which was awesome and surprised me with how nice it was. I would not recommend this Hyatt in OKC. « less
