This hotel surpassed our expectations for quality, price, and overall amenities. The room was comfortable and clean with nice décor and a very nice bathroom. Our experience with any of the staff we came in contact with, showed us how professional, well-trained, and pleasant they were, as they were always smiling, knowledgeable, and helpful. We had dinner at The Garlic Poet restaurant, which was on site, and was an exquisite experience, and the presentation and taste of the food was excellent! The staff at the restaurant were very attentive and made you feel at home! The breakfast the next morning was like none other we experienced at any other hotel in our years of traveling. We would definitely stay here again whenever we are in the area. « less

Rooms were 3 star or serviceable, but not as updated as the rest of the hotel. The atrium and pool area - phe-nom-enal! The Garlic Poet restaurant on site? Holy smokes, I wish I was in the area more often - simply a magnificent experience!!! I was also delivering a workshop in a conference room - which had its' problems (as do all hotel conference/ball rooms) - temperature varied, heating system was noisy, not as well lit as I'd have liked, noise from the group next door; but again, this is fairly common to expect in most hotels with meeting rooms. The catered buffet lunch was also outstanding. All of the hotel staff from check in to check out, to food servers, to conference room help were all very courteous and helpful and even (gasp) smiling.
I'll be back several times in the next few months, and am really looking forward to my stay. « less

This was a very nice place for a reasonable price. Our pet-friendly room had a second door that opened up to a interior courtyard, perfect for letting our little dog stretch her legs! The on-site restaurant was absolutely gorgeous! So nice to be able to walk down the corridor from our room and have dinner at a beautiful restaurant! I have to say that the indoor pool was a bit chilly, but that didn't stop my daughter from taking a dip! If I have any comments at all it would be that the pool area could use a hot tub (always welcome in my book - since I tend to skip the pool altogether) and the pet -friendly rooms would benefit from tile or vinyl flooring. Our dog was good, but I would have felt more at ease with easy clean floors instead of carpeting! Overall, this was a great place and we will be back next year for our annual trip to the Hershey area! « less

This was one of the worst places I've ever stayed. We stayed for the weekend and it was a disaster. There was no hot water for 2 of the 3 days and we al ended up getting sick. The food that the hotel provided was not good so we either ate at the restaurant or outside of the hotel. The staff was ok but the overall experience was horrible. « less
