We used this hotel as a Disney stopover. It is extremely clean and well appointed with an apparent refresh recently. One of the nicest, and cleanest Westins I have been to in a while. The staff was very helpful. Also, Shulas which is attached is a fantastic restaurant worthy of a special occasion. « less

Stayed here on the first night of our recent trip to Orlando as our holiday villa was not ready yet.
We used our Starwood Preferred Guests points for the night and as such, it was "free" which is excellent.
The room was spacious, has a huge bed, massive bathroom and shower, it was very clean and the TV was great. We hired a movie (Taken 2) on the evening as we were jet lagged and just wanted to relax and it was less than $5 which we think is excellent considering the price you would pay in a UK hotel.
We didn't eat in the hotel as we drove to a nearby Chilli's. There is a mall area right opposite the hotel (doesn't impede any views) which is great for a walk around in the early evening and to get an ice cream as we did. There appeared to be plenty of restaurants and cool looking bars there too if you fancied a night out whilst staying there.
The pool area is great! We swam on the morning of our departure as we woke up very early because of the time difference I guess. The deck is big with plenty of chairs and table for you to sit at and the pool itself is lovely and clean, large and a nice shape. There is also a separate spa which was nice and hot. I think it's a South facing pool too which is a bonus.
All in all, although this is probably a business hotel (not a vacation hotel), the amenities are excellent, the hotel and rooms very clean and the service is very good too. I would recommend for a business trip or just a night or two away if you are in the area. « less

Just finished a relaxing weekend at the Westin Lake Mary Hotel in the Orlando area. Was pleasantly surprised with the organization of the staff and cleanliness of the rooms. The hotel also featured a nice pool area to relax and sip on a cocktail,plenty of onsite parking, very nice area , with many restaurants and bars right across the street from the hotel, fairly close to downtown Orlando, 25 minute car ride. Overall a good experience and i highly recommend to anyone seeking a mid priced,comfortable, clean room. « less
