The Kansas City Downtown Marriott is located in the heart of downtown - we are in the "center of it all". The popular new desitation - The Power and Light District is two blocks from our front door. The Sprint Arena is 3 blocks from our Hotel. The Power and Light/Sprint area features over 30 new restaurants, bars and entertainment spots. The College Basketball Experience, AMC Headquarters and new movie theatres and the Lucky Strike Bowling are also part of the Power and Light complex. KCI International is 22 miles north of the downtown area. We are the 1st drop off in downtown from the airport on Super Shuttle (easy ride) Shuttle is readily available at all baggage claim areas. Cost is currently $17 one way and $29 round trip. Taxis are around $35 one way. Airport Shuttle? Sorry, no airport shuttle available.
